She feels it's a very nice last hold out but would prefer something a bit more solid and resilient as her front line defense.
She can get the Tattoo Guardian next month, but we won't be able to squeeze anything else in until the 10th month.

We could lend her a set of Elemental Wyrmlings if y'all are cool with that?

@DragonParadox

Viserys doesn't have any fancy tricks besides raw combat instinct (Full BAB) and bursts of inhuman strength (Power Attack), but how would most Knights view Viserys' sword fighting abilities, lacking most of the common Fighter feats?

Savant handed a sword, or battle-hardened veteran?

To be fair he's kind of a combination of both (just look at his Knowledge distribution), I think he's been in at least a hundred life or death fights, though he only spars with Waymar and perhaps Richard with the sword (though you couldn't possibly ask for better practice partners).

It just amuses me that Viserys can pick up a blade and make people grumble about how stupidly easy anything Viserys does comes to him, or more funnier thoughts like Darkstar's "if only you made that your focus, you'd be Arthur Dayne or the Dragonknight come again in no time" and wishing we were a more traditional warrior-king before remembering what being the Dread Sorcerer got us.

There would certainly be a sense that he is fighting on instinct and experience with little refinement, his fighting would feel unpolished but undeniably effective.

Well, her method of binding Devils is illegal for a damn good reason and I don't see any reason at all to hand out exceptions for this.

As for the second part, if she wants some fine Imperial engineering, that comes with strings attached. How about combining the two and lending her a Herald?

I wouldn't mind lending her a Herald.

If possible we should take the chance to have Yrten and Siduri outright join us. This might be a good time to poke at her for details on her plans regarding Dis so we can come to some kind of mutually beneficial arrangement.

While I'm not disputing the substance of the statement it bears mentioning that she has hold monster in her repertoire and Assay spell resistance. The 'fighting' usually involves the rest of the crew beating up an immobile fiend as her build focuses on increasing Save DCs as much as posibile.

We have proven that even with paranoiac preparations and countermeasures Fiends can be wily as fucking hell, intel about the one being bound could be wrong, I.E a minor Champion devil could have PC levels and connections enough to get items like Beads of Newt Protection, some kind of fate or time altering item, or just have a giant fucking bomb prepared.

We are constantly updating the Snare because of this, and she's having a bunch of pirates help her subdue her bound fiends, presumably with protections and preparations even a mad cultist would sneer at.

[X] Tell her that there are very good reasons to not let it be legal to ambush people and force magical compulsions on them. You will not undermine them by making any exceptions to this for convenience of yourself and others.
-[X] As for Constructs, she is free to commission some from the Glassmaker guild and can do the same from your own enchanters if she us willing to wait a bit, though the latter part would mean that you have to talk about your relationship with each other. (Use all the strength earned from withstanding Tyene doing the same to you to drown this in teasing innuendo.)
-[X] Ask her what her goals are, both short and long term, and dangle the option of assigning her a Herald as a carrot. If she has big goals that require a lot of murder and align with your own, then the Harbinger would likely rejoice at the chance to spend some time in the Eternal Furnace.

More seriously one of her "bound" devils just needs to get himself a Break Enchantment or Remove Curse, and it's suddenly free in the middle of our lands. Disregarding the fact that it may be able to cast such a spell itself, it could also get one through trickery/theft/trade in our increasingly great trading center of a city.

EDIT: If she swears herself to us, then she can get herself a Herald while on business! Nothing says "personal protection" like having all your enemies be eaten by a Dragon :D

She tends to stay away from such ambitious or powerful fiends, only using the names of fiends she knows she can control and mind-controlling her captives into giving her more such names

I'm unconcerned with the risk, since she's a big girl and I don't care how she acquires a Bone Devil or two for herself.

What I am concerned about is creating vaguely defined legal loopholes that could result in major issues for us later. See Pentoshi "Bondsmen".

It really doesn't do much to undermine the rest of the substance in my statement. It's less about quibbling over what can be called perfectly safe (she could freely point out we're going out of our way to target the most dangerous of this demographic) and more that what she is doing raises serious questions that we try to avoid having to answer simply by obviating the need to do what she is doing. We even go somewhat out of our way to hire Erinyes rather than force their service, even if some would view that state of affairs as more natural than trying to include them in our very society, not just retinue.

It's more that giving her leave to do these things sort of undermines our own narrative, and given we're Mythic now, that is a dangerous territory to tread upon.

With that said, we can obviously also go out of our way for her to help her obviate the need for it, too. With certain caveats. Such is our privilege.

Maybe she'd like the Seeker? She could work on it and fix it up to her specifications.

I don't remember the Seeker being all that useful to us lately.

It's only not useful seeing as how it is limited in how much it can be upgraded now without a more advanced Fleshforge.

I figured as much. I wanted to clarify that is is not reckless about summoning, to her mind at least.

@egoo , here you have more True names to ask for.
At the moment we have 34 (3 erynies) + 128 (+1 Knowledge Devil Artificer, ?? erynies) True Names already avaliable.
All of which in service of Mammon (except for artificer, technically).

We have more than enough True Names, and it's not like we'd start summoning servants of other Devil Lords - it's Noodle with whom we have a big beef with, and making yet more enemies by this silly a method...
ehhh...

And sure, most of those are going to be used up in summoning for DA!Tree, but we'd still have enough names left to summon for VS production nonetheless.

If we are ever starving for True Names - we still have that ambered lich from Lys unquestioned (and a whole bunch of Demons running around Lys whom he knows)

A Herald bodyguard for Siduri slash auxiliary crewgolem for the Golden Wind sounds pretty good to me, but that has to come with strings. The Herald's are high end sentient Golems.
