Next month Lannisters try to hire Pseudodragons to kill dragons.
Don't understand why so far everyone took the offered money and flew away laughing.

Edit: Speaking of which, it is interesting to note every attack on us has either been in the general vein or indirect since we captured half the Royal Fleet and routed the rest.

The Essosi have arranged for more assassins for us, half of them by mistake!

And the first time we got hit by a Sorrowful Man was on purpose.

THE NEXT time was on acccident!

I'm really not sure what you are referring to here. Our first brush with the Sorrowful Man was saving The Idiot from their poison after Azema had handily torn the lot to shreds. The second time was when they hire one to take out our mage persona in Lys.

Or did I forget something?

There was the Sorrowful Man in Myr who attacked "the Dragon King's envoy" not realizing it was us.

We got attacked once in Braavos way back in the day by a Sorrowful Man.

I can find the update later.
 
I am surprised more assassins haven't come to take a shot. I mean granted our reputation as tree-feeding monsters makes us an unsavoury target but I imagine there are a couple idiots who would take a shot.

It was Myr. We sent Rhaella and Wyla over there to work with Lady Phassen in preparing Myr for annexation.

EDIT: Mind you, they also tried to kill Aedon and deprive us of our conquest of Lys.

I'm actually expecting Efreeti hired assassins in the near future.

The Planetosi ones are pretty unlikely to take contracts on us these days. In the case of the Faceless due to alliance and in the case of the Sorrowful Men due to lacking the firepower to do it.

Which reminds me:
@DragonParadox, can we have a chit-chat with the Faceless man in our Quarteen Sorcerer persona in Lys tomorrow? We never followed up on that and I want to find out why they approached us.

Not many assassins fancy being tree food, and not many nobles want to imagine what lengths the Dread Sorcerer would go to locate the sucker who hired the paid knife.

I hope Mammon steps up his game and starts summoning more devils against us. I'm starting to get worried that Asmodeus will boot him from his lordship over the Third Hell to stop us from looting devils.

And then of course there's the 300 lbs of Valyrian Steel weapons we're bringing along (the exact types of weapons yet to be decided on), the book on Celestials as a gift for the Emperor, and Wyla sending along some dinosaurs for sale.

I think we failed to educate Dany on funds management. Everything she has she got for free.

What do you think about giving her some spending money to properly invest, about 50 thou IM?

It's fairly unnecessary, IMO. As a Companion she has the right to poke at us whenever she needs something, and pretty much all her closest friends have a very solid grounding in economics by virtue of managing their own companies or constantly buying shares in various trading ships.
 
I'm pretty sure Dany will never really become much of an economic player. It's simply nothing she has shown any interest in, so she would at most hire herself an Alinor to administrate her estates.

I've been thinking that they'd have leveled a bit on their adventures and instead of killing and replacing Wyl why not just reincarnate him into the Red Cap. I mean the Druid is right there after all.

Thus they'd be competing as somthing like:
Alysane Mormont the Werebear fighter 8
Walter 'Knott' Mormont a Bard 11
Odric Knott a Spontaneous Druid 12
-Hunter the Shadow Cat Companion
NPC Wyl as a Martial Rogue 4/Red Cap 8

If they're showing up they'd probably be traveling with Maege Mormont. DP spoke on that a few days back:

She is probably going to arrive towards the end of the festival. There are not really a lot of ships that go as far north as Bear Island so even with you paying the captain's fee for anyone arriving for the festival she did not have many options.
