So we would have to ask a divination question in-thread and we would get a riddle in-thread to parse through. Is this how it would work?
Yes, it's a unique enough question to merit it.

Speaking of which, I want to give Gerold and Alinor a nice province for themselves. Alinor can get her own Alinor to manage it for her so she can stay in Sorcerer's Deep.I'm actually hesitant of naming too manynew nobility in the conquered lands. Didnt we want to reduce the power of landed nobility? Better to name governors to countships as well as dukedoms in that case. Use Vaeros/baronship as the carrot for Westerosi.
I was only partially meming. I am in general not a big fan of sitting on the sidelines of such a profitable war even if I recognize the necessity of it, and calling in more firepower while we're busy and not able to loot only makes that worse. I'm genuinely nervous that the Djinn and Shaitan will do too well in the war and we'll miss out on millions of tons of adamantine and mithral that could have been ours, not to mention all the sacrifices or minions in the form of former slaves.Ok, @Duesal upon reflection I have lost track of when your meming or not.
Are you willing to split wealth for man power? Ever? Can I approach it on a case but case basis? What would you actually be comfortable paying someone to do?
Funnily enough, they didn't find it at all. They just found a bunch of Valyrian Steel weapons they used as replacements.Oh we know where Brightroar is. I believe the Lannisters found it again after their trip to Valyria
Look at that. Another question for the divination train. We should make a list.Funnily enough, they didn't find it at all. They just found a bunch of Valyrian Steel weapons they used as replacements.
Reminder here that a lot of people really want to recruit Gerion and Lanna and legitimizing a Reyne would boot them out of their castle.Since that "Reyne" is here, I want to legitimize him as an actual Reyne.
When we find Brightroar eventually, he gets the sword.
Not necessarily. If we wanted to recruit Gerion and Lanna, we could just give the Reyne another piece of land in the Westerlands. It's not like there won't be plenty of lords there to cast down.Reminder here that a lot of people really want to recruit Gerion and Lanna and legitimizing a Reyne would boot them out of their castle.
If we legitimize him as Reyne, that would not be possible. Doing so implicitly acknowledges his right on Castamare. Not necessarily. Fair enough. I still want to give him Brightroar, though. If we legitimize him as Reyne, that would not be possible. Doing so implicitly acknowledges his right on Castamare.
Just as planned.Reminder here that a lot of people really want to recruit Gerion and Lanna and legitimizing a Reyne would boot them out of their castle.
I personally don't give half a shit about the two of them put together, but it's not a fight I will lead.
So we'd have to give them another piece of the Westerlands. Not a major issue but worth considering, since this 'Reyne' guy probably doesn't bring anything to the table other than the balls to poke at Tywin like that. And even that's debatable since for all we know he's only done it here, where he knows we can protect him.If we legitimize him as Reyne, that would not be possible. Doing so implicitly acknowledges his right on Castamare.

Sorry @Duesal I should have been more respectful with my answers about loot sharing.
I'm... I can't tell if your memeing or actually think they will go after stuff.
Inevitables are usually machines. They literally care only for their task and completing it. A Zelekhut will likely only be interested in having resources for it's next Target. So we can give it whatever.
Assuming it doesn't self destruct or go into a coma until the next god seeker shows up.
With luck they'll be obligated to fight us, and we can kill them. Then after we loot the corpses we can decide what to do.I personally don't give half a shit about the two of them put together, but it's not a fight I will lead.
It's easily checkable. There's a spell that can tell you about your ancestry, and short of that there's divination.Any else think a living Reyne is a little too good to be true? Like certain Lannisters hoping to get a inside man or who knows?
Honestly I have yet to see people use Ao for anything at all in games or media. Mostly in those times the ones that get fucked are the gods, and typically only your usual suspects.Hmm I think it would be better to table that until post conquest. We might have other uses for that name other than bestowing it to the first npc to pass us on a sidewalk.
From what I've understood of inevitables by reading the thread they sound like a race of Mary Sues that exist only to bail out the GM from a plothole. DP is far above that level of skill though and I think its unlikely he'll use them. Same for Ao.
And, btw, we're no where near in the clear with this Quest. Even a single encounter could soultrap or permakill Viserys at this level, and with him gone half of what makes the Empire tick crumbles. The Sealord noted this in a recent interlude even.
Though I do get where people are coming with this. One of the explicit reasons for the festival is that we wanted a victory lap with plenty of interludes celebrating our achievments, because we're happy to have made it till here. There's plenty of enemies out there still, and they're getting even craftier and deadlier/unique the more DP grows as a GM (which he's never stopped doing).
Even discounting the Epic Level threats (War Economy mode Brazen Throne, The Others, Shadow Emperor, All-In Tiamat, etc) there plenty of threats DP is keeping hidden. The whole complex world of the Court of Stars came out of nowhere (but foreshadowed, so it worked perfectly) and its a wonderfully built opponent in the heart of westeros and most definetively not a pushover.
Btw, congrats on that @DragonParadox, however way we resolve this, the Court of Stars is looking up to be a fun and interesting opponent, slotted right in the heart of Westeros in all the good ways. It filled a vacuum I didnt even know was there, and they feel really alive and well done.

With resources they shouldn't have, yes. That requires either fey fuckery or access to a Flesh Forge, and even then they'd need a way to actively fool our divinations.Anyway they can fake or even give someone the blood of a Reyne to make the story more believable? They got too have a few bodies they could use right?
