Really should have given her Tomb Tainted Soul or so to represent that, because she generally looks very much alive, if slightly augmented.

What @Artemis1992 said, it really wasn't clear at all that she's half-dead.

It just seemed like emotionally she was coming to terms with a life-table-flipping event and due to the same cold nature that gives her inherent magical powers she was also physically slightly colder than usual, made perfect sense to me and wasn't worried about her at all.

Warging is a form of intrinsic magic, you can be a warg without the old gods likening you. The blessing is a case of dragging an impressive sacrifice to a heart tree and asking for intercession.

Likely even less than a fifth.

She seems more alive than your average Pathfinder-Sorcerer with the Undead Bloodline.

He has some experience in diplo and intrigue, simply by surviving 53 years as Volantine nobility, but that was never something he cared for much, even before getting vast, cosmic powers.

He is Volantene nobility. Unless he has an unfotunate accident, he would easily have another 20 years on the clock without magic, probably another 40 with magic.

He has decent constitution and there are good healers in Volantis.
And Valyrians tend to be pretty healthy anyway.

Without any magic to change his lifespan (except basic healing) he could still live easily over 30 years.

Edit: generally speaking medival life expectancy comes from childhood deaths, and occasionally plagues.
A low average does not mean a healthy man in his forties or fifties was likely to keel over for no external reason.

Also, @DragonParadox, unless we land Aemon in the eastern parts of the province, reaching Mantarys and Volantis is roughly equally difficult. From most areas it's even simpler to reach Volantis, as you can ride the Shadow Stead over the ocean.

So I have a system question. A researcher is better at research actions but a non researcher can also do research...is that correct? It would just be less dice?
