Poor creature, already a Truenamer and then weakened even further.
My heart goes out to one who will soon be backstabbed by an ambitious Imp or something like that.

It would be the funniest/greatest thing in the world if said imp trued delivering this to us as a recruitment pitch.

Also how exactly was the knowledge that Rhaella is back to life supposed to permenantly fracture Viserys with the Faith and the rest of Westeros?
  1. How is that the straw that breaks the camel's back? Seriously, I think even for religious Westerosi selling "yes bringing someone back from Heaven is totally worse than the blood magic and baby eating!"
  2. Oh boy, it'd be fun to try and sell everyone else on this. We already know of two major families at the least who'd greatly greatly object to the idea that Raise Dead is verboten.

Hmm... I'd say 128 names (Since this is a knowledge devil). Keep in mind you will not be able to summon everyone in one month though. I'll roll for what you got soon.
Fingers crossed for Erinyes.

Regarding Rhaella they were going to spin it as "foul heathen necromancy".

Ahem.
Mythic Surge. Bloodwish. Snare.
How many Planar Bindings (of all 3 variations) can we drop on this a single day this way, again, @Goldfish?

I'm pretty sure we actually can summon almost everyone this way, even with these 34 new ones.

That, and I'm not sure if 124 is how little she would have gotten throughout millenia...
Eh, whatever.
Let's say she was anti-social and be happy with what we got :V

The issue was that you would be having people calling for Rhaella's death not to mention describing her in all manner of unflattering terms. The idea was to get Viserys angry enough to play the part of King Maegor. As mentioned above it's a desperation ploy.

Don't devil names change with time and great deeds/punishment, especially the weaker ones?

I think the argument would be made by the Devil pawns that "foul Necromancy" or pacts with Devils, Demons, etc., were used to restore the good Queen Rhaella to life, tearing her from her rightful resting place in the glorious Heaven of the Faith of the Seven. When you say it like that, it sounds a bit less wholesome than a kid wanting to have his mother back after she died prematurely in childbirth.

Just because we could strain and Summon more of them doesn't mean we should. Doing it like that eats up daily resources that then would not be available for other uses, such as emergency combat or other unforeseen troubles.

Basically...be patient, dude. We'll have more than enough sacrificial HD for the Tree of the Dawn Age, plus more coming in over the next couple months for other projects.

Huh. I actually had no idea.

That poor Vrock.

We were doing that in the background for the entire month, so, well, expecting even so much as mere 2 casts a day likely would have gotten us most/all of these devils.
WIth Lya helping out?
We could most certainly have the list cleared by the day the Tree is raised.

Also, I'm arguind the possibility itself although I probably should have worded that better.

The subject is aware of two other other devils
Repetition.
Provenience of the Enchanted Clasp and the Assassin Beetle is a skilled Uniila enchanter in Dis who has offered her services at a premium after news arrived of the slaying of her blood-sister at the hands of the King.
Is that blood-sister our bookified Uniila? If yes, the enchanter's true name should be included in the book.

I had this thought as well, but keep in mind the Uniila probably anticipates being summoned. Remember the surprise!hellfire the Brachina unleashed when she was summoned? Imagine that cranked up to 11. The Brachina was a dabbler in ritual lore. The Uniila is a master.

If we summon her at all we need to be truly paranoid about her contingencies.

Vote closed. I think I will have Rhaella do the next interview since that will flow nicely into talking to her about something else she is dealing with this month. It will still be presented from Viserys' PoV and Rahella will have the full suite of social buffs she can use.

A former slave, she is dutiful, loyal and courteous, following the Imperial Graces guidelines lain forth by your mother like gospel. Most importantly, she excels in a field once dominated by men, as she fights harder, longer and with more tactical sense than you've seen in most sellsword officers before they've gotten old habits beaten, sometimes literally, out of them.

Thank you! Seriously, I'm still scratching my head about how the whole "Viserys conducting the interviews" thing even came to pass. This is much better.
