About the nightmare Dragon : I would have kept Shivering Touch banned, and just left Viserys to die again. Fighting it was our choice, we face the consequences.

He could have Dreamcast minor creation and drowned the Dragon in black lotus poison, anyway :D

But I was neither GM or player back then, so none of this happened.

@Azel do we have any legionares or boats we can throw Yraels way?

The harpy war has been going on forever.
We are not in the position to take over Slavers Bay right now. We just gobbled up Lys and Myr and I would greatly prefer to have Inquisition assets in place in the four major cities before we move against them.

However, the 3rd Legion is being trained up in Tolos right now and we have massive naval assets in the area, so they are well protected.

I think the question here is can we give Yrael some support, not can we just invade. Give him some more defensive weight instead.

I got that, but the only way we can support him more is by actually invading.

We have enough naval assets to close of the bay entirely if we wanted, but are not doing so to not prompt Slavers Bay into exploding into Demons.

Likewise, they have ample ground assets, among them 1,700 Legionaries, of which roughly a third are a core of veterans from the 1st and 2nd.

Lastly, if Slavers Bay actually attacked in force, they would either get their transports sunk by dragonfire or have to march through the buffer area of Bhorash. Before they are anywhere near Mantarys and Tolos, the forces currently deployed in Draconys would be back east and we could send support from SD, which includes PC's, the Wyvern fighters and the Darkenbeast Company.

Really. They are safe and sound. Any military action of Slavers Bay against us would end in a unmitigated disaster for them.

I was under the impression they were already at war with us, and had been launching active raids into Mantarys for quite some time.

On top of Yraels crusade...

Are we holding off to avoid starting a war war? Rather than a series of skirmishes?

Edit: ninja'd

Also someday. Someday we will have a literal army of amoral shapeshifting assassins.

Then we can fight whoever however we want!

The last fleet they send got WBL'ed to death by that visizier's daughter with a storm in a jar.

I hope they eventually found out that they were beaten by a rich girl's toy her dad bought her.

@DragonParadox - out of curiosity, how does this stack up against other historical tourneys? I'm hesitant to call our entire thing the largest in westerosi history, but it's gotta be a serious contender.
Well, the Tourney of Harrenhal was called the greatest of it's time and went on for 7 days, of which 5 days were for the joust.

I'm pretty sure we've beaten that, looted everything useful and then stuffed it for the Hall of Horrors.

It's probably equal to the other hugest in Westeros if you count only Westerosi attendance, but larger overall by a huge margin thanks to some pullover from Essos?

If you count the secondary locations and everything else going on, we have won. Absolutely, hands down, won.

The only one who could have hosted a event with more attendants would have been the Freehold and I don't think they ever included the colonies in their celebrations.

No certainly not. They were dirty provincials.

Idiots.
