Would you like to accompany me?" She motioned to one of the doors and gave him a delicate smile that seemed to invite him to other things, even more than her eyes. All right, this is a good opportunity to gather more information.

"Of course not." What information was he even supposed to gather? He was going to disappear here so that she could suck out his magic and summon fiends with it or something.
"Would you like to accompany me?"
"Of course not."

Something wrong there?

@Azel, by the way, what did you want the Cornugon for?

While you probably can't summon the trophy since he's most likely been demoted for being killed, we do have names of other Cornugons from both the trophy and the Tome of the Cabal Devil.
I wanted to feed that particular Cornugon to the Coils of Agony as the blood part of turning them into VS.

Diomedon was also never seen again shortly after Tyrosh.

And my comment was more expressing a feeling that more regulars become quieter then new people come in.
I don't know exactly why that might be happening, but it's been repeatedly pointed out that participating in the quest as a 'regular' is ... intensive. Both in time and effort. I definitely know some days I simply ain't up for it.

I've dropped a few quests after it took a different path than I was comfortable with. For various reasons.

Some people don't feel like putting together a plan only for someone more veteran to get theirs "railroaded" into victory. It can be a little off putting. They might enjoy being heard and wander off for a newer quest.

Oftentimes those "railroaded" veterans plans have more depth and nuance because the veteran has more history and puts more care into it than a newcomer. I know I'm not invested enough to keep record of the numbers and charts if everything.

I don't vote often for a few different reasons. Work/Life schedule being the main one. Sometimes a popular plan has more than enough votes, so I don't feel the need.

If I want to contribute something I type a suggestion and see if it gets any traction and will get added.

It may not be a vote, but it's my own contribution.

And then there are times when the thread gets bogged down with people sniping at each other and fighting. And then apologizing... sometimes. Which I'm glad you guys are able to get together and argue and when you overstep can apologize.

But during those times I just find the winning plan and read the update. It's not worth the hassle or time to read page after page of people going at it.

I feel like I'm rambling now, but we're all making this story together and it's been fun. From the most verbose logically worded combed over plan to the short little quip or anecdote.

We're just lucky to have DragonParadox to tie it in a nice bow for us.

On the Trail.

You've tracked DP to a Secret Russian Spetznaz base deep into the Siberian tundra. Its spotlights glimmer ahead in the midst of the dark, probably guiding the base's machine gun nests.

You have an inside man, @egoo , undercover. With you, you have an Adamantine dagger, a length of rope, 5 kg of plastic exploives, Azel's brain in a jar, and exactly 4 of Tomcosts' angry magpies (the fifth cawed and took off, you can see it trying to dig up something under the snow.)

What do you do?

[] Write in.

Well my internet is finally back up again. Sorry for the wait guys.

  • [X] Plan Equal Opportunity Overlord
-[X] "You might as well ask me what aught to be done with Westerosi or Essosi. They are not a monolithic force united under a single banner and purpose, so I have no sweeping plans for all of them, just as I don't treat every Westerosi as a traitor to my house or every Essosi as a slaver." // First thing first, clearing up this "The Fey" lumping by making it clear to him that he should be very fucking grateful that we are not in the habit of making sweeping generalizations. See show-canon Dany for what that would mean for him.
-[X] "Of the Fey and their courts I've met so far, I've seen great differences in character and desires. From genuine well-meaning and honor right down to cruelty worthy of a pit-spawn, I've met them all, and as much as they are different from each other, so should our relationship to them be. I for one are quite glad to have the aid of some Fey, such as the Bulabar who are still the most important part of the cities engineering guild and so far I never heard complaints about the proprietors of the Golden Hearth." // Fey can be good. He should have noticed the nice Fey around SD, even if he wasn't here all that long.
-[X] If When Moonsong interjects in response to not being mentioned: "I simply didn't feel the need to tout your horn. You are far better at it then I am and glad for every opportunity to do so." // Ribbing Moonsong is a purpose in of itself, so it should be done at every opportunity.
-[X] "However, I think you are mostly asking about the court of Starry Skies that the Tyrells have dealings with? As for them, I'm far less positively inclined after my meeting with their representative. It bears remembering that the Fey are fundamentally alien in their mindset, so some caution is always advised when dealing with them." // Lead-in and revealing to him that we've met and were unimpressed. Leave a small pause for some choice insults from Moonsong.
-[X] "What I want to see and what I fight for is peaceful coexistence between man and all other kinds of being, so as long as one keeps the law of the land, I see no reason to reject to someones presence, be they man, Fey, Angel or whatever else. That court though seems to have little regard for the desires of mortals, instead having sought ways to be placed above the law, if not outright to gain dominion over mortal which they would treat akin to cattle or toys. Whatever went though Mace Tyrells head when he began to support that farce I do not know, but I shudder to imagine." // The gist of what we got from the nice lady on the Redwyne ship. And a choice insult for Mace for supporting that insanity.
-[X] "I do not know if a peaceful accord can be reached with that court, but some form of order needs to be established one way or another. If their leadership insists on their unwarranted arrogance, I will have to hatch out said agreement with their underlings instead." // Making it clear that we have no interest in genocide, but pruning undesirable parts is perfectly alright with us.
[X] "Any citizen of the realm who raises an illegitimate ruler to power and seeks to trick or enchant existing Lords into bargaining away their lands will face the Dragon's justice. They have enchanted forests. I have Dragonfire."
-[X] "Of course, any Fey who abides by the empire's laws is a citizen like any other."
    [X] Plan Imperial Awe
-[X] The Fae of Westeros are a thorny issue. \* Suggest that the Fae aren't homogenous as one unfamiliar with them might assume.
-[X] They hold the arrogance of seeing themselves above men. Having them acknowledge my authority is a challenge in itself. \* Our response just casually assumes that having them bend the knee to us as the course of action.
-[X] One multiplied manifold when these varied, oft capricious beings would need respect also my reflected authority: those of my lords and lawmen. \* The core of the issue with integrating them.
-[X] And a great waste of blood and potential it would be to force obediance with an edge of iron. They are not without their advantages, elusive and quick. \* Genocide is wasteful and difficult. The fey could cause a lot of damage fighting asymetrically.
-[X] But in the end, there can be only one law for all under my rule. \* There isn't any real room for compromise here.
-[X] And with a sufficient demonstration of power and stature, even the fractious can be made to see reason. \* Overawe them, use that as a narrative against them. It won't be easy, but Viserys can do it.

... I thought that the magpie man here was @Duesal ?

Anyway:

[RIOT] Drop all your magpies through a vent. Use the distraction to carve an entrance with the adamantine and go inside.
I probably flew away to hide my loot from everyone else.

For example, the trophy room? I would have done that on my own even if DP hadn't let us do it IC. :p Something I do just for the satisfaction of it.

Maybe we should have a separate quest about traversing the ASWAH meta-universe, with every regular getting his own plane.

Mine would probably be the Hall of Horrors, with notes of all the various bits of loot we've collected here and there, and also a big vault for the Larder made of Valyrian Steel.

EDIT: Also, I was pleasantly surprised the trophy room got a name IC. The Hall of Horrors is suitably ominous.

I think it would be funnier if everyone except the person themselves got to design their plane.

Well, it's an entire hall full of the stuffed bodies of monster and the skulls of our enemies. What else would you call it?

Yours is an office absolutely littered with documents on economics, various schemes, maps for conquest dominating the walls, etc. You have several Erinyes standing guard at the doors, and a giant big red button on your desk that everyone nervously looks at every now and then.

EDIT: Also, there's a lot of screaming coming from an open window.

The trophy room? I honestly wasn't expecting a name for it at all.

@bigbow would clearly be a Planar crafter. As in, someone who crafts custom Planes for others :D

Not sure what plane I'd get.

I'd give @Crake a plane of one-liners though, and unexpected Youtube links that sometimes get opened. When night comes and people get tired, everyone suddenly gets into arguments that don't last forever.

The local currency in yours will be baguettes.
Sounds pretty good, actually. A currency that gradually loses value with time to stop accumulation of wealth and speculation/weird financial bullshit?
There are leftists smiling like loons at the very idea.

Edit: More seriously, this assumes that all baguettes have equal value. If the population gets picky, then suddenly each baguette will have a fluctuating value depending on who likes what type of baguette (which flour type, how well cooked, etc). Economic collapse may occur. Food currency kinda isn't optimal.

Goldfishs will be a gigantic fish bowl with a little plastic castle.

The inside of the castle will be a maze of underwater spiderwebs filled all manner of Eldritch 8 legged horror.

And inside the center of the maze will be a manilla folder labeled THE PLAN.

Inside that folder will be a piece of paper with the words "I prepared explosive runes today" on it.

THE PLAN is on goldfishes person at all times. Naturally.

I think @Duesal's plane will look exactly like Viserys' realm does, but every person, animal and object has a card attached to it that says "MINE" and what it is, how much it is worth and how and when we aquired it.
