Well, so much for me wanting to cram in a Omake with Lya and the Qohory smith talking about the Herald before the final enchantments are done...

I'm strongly for a custom path, as several people already shot down Beyond Alignment for her, which I would feel extremely fitting, and I do have some vague ideas for other stuff.

I think Lya is close to the archetypical archmage in some ways (not all, but nobody is) and mechanically there are many great Mythic abilities for her to take on that Path, so I see little reason to go costum here, unless someone has an idea for a particularly great an flavorful ability for her.

And even then making it a costum mythic feat would likely be better than changing the whole Path.

Yeah, but the idea would be that Viserys wouldn't need an item. He would basically be his own knowledge booster. And the idea of the Inquisition, the Administration and the Lawmen being "the Emperors eyes, ears and hands" would suddenly become very literal.

She fits the stereotype of the Archmage to a T, tho.

But crafting, definitely.

Let him roll Knowledge (Local) with some assorted bonuses, for anywhere we have significant presence?
 
So, what about this for Dawn Tree age, assuming it affects the entire island:
1 - Protection From Evil
2 - Sacred Fox's Cunning - Skill and ability checks only.
3 - Age Resistance
4 - Elysian Winds: Natural healing is twice as fast, non-strenuous activity counts as bedrest for purposes of natural healing, roll twice against poison and disease.

I think out recent-ish PMs show my position quite well :V

I want a custom-ish path, to better show Lya's development as a researcher and someone messing around with the very basis of Creation.

So, in my mind it looked like temporarily (!) adjusting chosen planar traits in her vicinity.

Starting small, and ending big, if not brokenly-cheesy (so no dropping Ice constant in PoF, positive-constant on PoNE, or time-loops via extended and shortened time constants, etc).

That wishful thought aside, I have very little to add to MR-discussion :(

I was hoping for another perspective on the mountain exploding. Braga would be especially neat since we'd get an interlude with Viserys present in it. The only other time that's happened is with Lya when we forged Oathkeeper.

Archmage is perfect for Lya. It needs no customization or fluff, IMO.

It's like it was designed with her in mind.

Beyond Morality is almost pure fluff with just a bit of substance. For a Mythic Tier ability it is garbage.

Sorry to be so blunt about it, but that's the honest truth. There are so many options that are better that even considering it makes my brain hurt.

Beyond Morality is almost pure fluff with just a bit of substance. For a Mythic Tier ability it is garbage.

Sorry to be so blunt about it, but that's the honest truth. There are so many options that are better that even considering it makes my brain hurt.

Which is fine, but that's why I'm suggesting a custom ability for her that combines Beyond Morality with something else to make it a viable feat.

Viserys path is also mostly a slightly adjusted Archmage, so I don't see the issue with also giving Lya a special snowflake ability.

2. If this boosts both language learning and general learning, I'm all for it.
3. Might result in SD getting rather geriatric.
