Oh I do want to research different vectors/built in communicability for Memory Rot to actually take advantage of the ceasefire.

@DragonParadox

That Ulitharid that bargained for the ceasefire, they are known to us for spell direction purposes (e.g. Scrying etc) correct? I need to know for reasons.

Runecrafting I actually seems super useful, then, if what she has is enough to maintain Land-Wards and spell wells to never freeze even in the middle of Winter.

We already have Runecrafting III here:

Would you mind laying out what Runecrafting I and Runecrafting II are?

She has access to Legend-wrought alone of all the stuff in there though she has never personally tried to make anything with it. Her former teacher now dead did, managing to make the equivalent of a cloak of elvenkind a few bane weapons and a PfE ring over the course of fifty years.

Is that just Velwen who only had access to Legend-Wrought, or is it everyone in general who manages to get Runecrafting I? Also, do we know what Runecrafting II would get? Would they just pick another aspect of Runecrafting to tack on?

[X] Plan Umbers and Thenns
-[X] Visit Greatjon Umber
--[X] Let Mors do the introductions, you are there on his request after all.
--[X] Wait and get a first impression of Greatjon and answer a few questions if he has any before deciding your further approach.
-[X] Show the Thenns your realm:
--[X] Velwen (Runecrafter) should see a bit of our work. Lya can show her the Antigrav Fighters (under the provision that she swears to not speak of them to anyone not a Thenn and that they swear the same), the awakening of the Harbinger and the workshops of our small army of enchanters cranking out gear. As she is also a healer, let Dany take her along when working in the city.
--[X] Braga should see the Legion and maybe train with them a bit, specifically with the scouts. His input there would be greatly appreciated and he should see for himself that it was no empty boasting when we talked about the Legion. Also let him sit in on some Inquisition exercises for the same reason.
--[X] As for Goram, that's up to him, since he noted the desire to spend time with his newly discovered in-laws. Since his two comrades are viewing our capabilities in magic and war, we could give him a tour of the markets and farmlands so that he can see that we indeed have rich and fertile land wrought from nothing but barren rocks and that there truly is plenty left for the Thenn to settle if they wish.
--[X] They are all cordially invited to attend the ritual at the Dawn Age Tree, where the Winter-Wight will get what's coming to him.

So, another bottled cultist to buy passage? Do we reuse bottles? I wonder if our passengers have any complaints being put into a bottle previously occupied by a victimticket.

I would like to do the reverse. Drop them off there after their visit and rope Mormont into establishing peaceful contacts.
That also works out. Funnily enough they're a major resource for the Wall.

@DragonParadox, with Runecrafting I, how many wells can enchanted with anti-freezing and how long would it take? That's pretty important for the Night's Watch to have.

@DragonParadox would the Thens value a hardened copy (via bloodwish) of our map of the north of the wall?

I'm wary that bloodmagic of such scale as the Dawn Tree will make even the wildlings alarmed. But fuck it. There're gonna stay on the good side of the dragon that explodes mountains.

But like, keep the guests to those who have lived in the edge, if reasoabley possible ;)

"Alarmed" less, more "jubilant" so long as you throw in a few dozen sentient undead or Winter-touched nasties.

And every noble savage can appreciate profiting off the blood of your enemies.

Well, we've currently got...

*peeks at the Larder*

At total of 1,855.45 HD for that tree. That's 34.36 regular Tier 3 Heart Trees.

That's plenty reason to be alarmed.

Up to four wells/month can be enchanted

Very much so.
