I'm afraid if Siduri only faces our level 3-6 no-name mages or even the level 7-8 named mages like Horio, Sarah or Velen she'll have an effortless win. That's not much fun for anyone.

No, what I dubbed "Steam Projectors". Which is basically a water thrower, except the water is over 400°C when it leaves the nozzle. Also, Launcher turrets shooting ballista bolts and alchemical funsies at you.

Actually, this would be fun. We just have to find a way to make it remotely fair for the mages. Viserys is a... I don't even know what CR he is. He's literally a Mythic challenge, a level 17 Sorcerer Adult Red Dragon armed to the teeth with magic items.

Interesting question - what effect has 400°C water on fire elementals?
Of course it would be a special event with the 4 winners of the tournament.

No idea. Rules wise, they deal half bludgeoning and half fire damage, but no idea how a fire elemental will react to a very fast jet of water going through his body. Probably poorly.
Wyla is thinking of participating, but none of the companions since they don't really need the prize or the cheers. Teana will be in the jury guaranteeing the fairness of the competition so she can't participate obviously.

As for Viserys participating... I think you could call every contestant into the arena for that and it would still be a curb-stomp. Siduri is the only one so far whom I'd suspect to survive the opening salvo.

Having Teana be able to show her claws would be great. I'm all for having Lya do the judging if she's available.
I would say they take no fire damage but 50% more bludgeoning damage since it is water.
She is enjoying the festival

Also, I'm honestly not sure what we could do to motivate people to fight Viserys. He is terrifyingly powerful and everyone knows it. You'd have to be insane to seek out open combat against him.

Pathfinder has a pretty simple ruleset for naval/vehicle combat that they had to make, if I recall correctly. Sure, it doesn't model everything perfectly, but nothing will.

See the whole "AC 0, 100,000 HP" thingy. The Moonchaser is just too large to model it as a creature like Pathfinder does.
It might work decently for fighters, though they might end up with ridiculous HP.

The only way to effectively model it with some realism that I can think of would be Battletech lite, which was designed around vehicle combat instead of personal. But I am not subjecting DP to that.
