We gonna ask about Euron?

@Duesal While OOC we have good reason to suspect Brynden knows ALL ABOUT fucking Euron, it would be metagaming to straight up ask "so how'd you fuck up with Crow's Eye, Uncle".

HOWEVER, we just recently asked about the Iron Islands, and we have run into the Silence before, so Brynden might very well be a valid person to ask for more information concerning that, esp. with Drowned Men roaming around out there and us having already dealt with one deadly and mad Greyjoy.

So we might get certain... revelations.

Have a bit of faith, I'm not going to ask about Bloodraven's connection to Euron which we know nothing about. I'll bring up the fact that one time we found Euron's ship in the middle of a magic fog and when we divined the results of a battle the odds were not good, and ever since then we haven't seen the ship.

That should be enough to get Bloodraven to just tell us everything.

EDIT: It should also ramp up his paranoia, because Euron is probably under a Mind Blank and hidden from Bloodraven's eyes as well.

Magical weapons already have a fifty percent change of hitting incorporeal foes.

I would maybe make them out of Cold Iron if anything. Looks inconspicuous enough (like an iron sword), and even DR 5 is a bitch at low levels. Good for fey and demons.

Considering Euron wants nothing less than all of Westeros itself, and maybe even grander ambitions since we dared to imagine them, I would say that the mad man is very definitely our concern, and Brynden's as well... seeing as how he's the leavings of a failed apprenticeship slash experiment, likely when he was less sure on the path to power and the dreams were harder to sift through.

IIRC he wanted to become a god in canon.

I've talked with DP over PM and it seems our Intrigue action budget will look good next turn. We get Shara Rhogara as a Intrigue Hero and the base in Myr has finished. That brings us up a total of 3 more Intrigue actions in comparison to last turn, Lys and Myr being steadily spied on and we got the outpost in Kings Landing finished too.

On the matter of next turns Inquisition expansion, here is what it will take:
Location Outpost Base Note
Mantary
26
52

Tolos
33
66

Basilisk Isles
1
2
actually 3 provinces, combining them due to minuscle effort needed
Naath
1
2
might be worth rolling into the Basilisk Isles effort
Kings Landing -
20
DP confirmed that this would also include rolling up the remainder of Varys operations here
Astapor
16
32
esimated effort needed
Yunkai
14
28
esimated effort needed
Mereen
32
64
esimated effort needed
New Ghis
12
24
esimated effort needed
Mantarys and Tolos are pretty difficult to deal with, as we need to cover a lot of hinterland that seamlessly bleeds over into the lawless Painted Mountains and the lovely hellscape of Valyria. All the more reason to get going on it in my book though, as getting up outposts at least would help tremendously against gribblies streaming in and Ghiscari assassins annoying our vassals.

There's also a slight issue in regards to population size affecting the necessary effort. City states like Lys are easier to get a grip on then city states with huge, sprawling hinterland like Mantarys, Tolos and Slavers Bay. The exception to the rule here is New Ghis, which is likewise an island with comparatively small population figures. All values on Slavers Bay are not approved by DP, but merely my estimate.

So we got our work cut out for us with we really want to undermine Slavers Bay.

To add to this, @Azel, we have more Hero units in Menel (Intrigue and economics for sure, maybe even Elusive Shadow), Aubert Flowers (Military/Law), Lohos Saan, Koron and Grazdan and Kennos of Kayce (though we only have sheets for the first two just now).

Menel esp. pertinent since that's yet another intrigue and economic action.

That's putting it lightly, considering the implications of what he was after in the books, where the magic is way lower on the scale.

That dream sequence in the sample chapter was some really disturbing stuff.

A month ago I would have scorned any ambition to achieve godhood.

But I feel nothing for contempt for the version of the Bloodstone Emperor described to have murdered his own sister for power and to spite the Gods, despite the fact that he has done nothing more than damned generations to chain himself to pride and lose himself in shadow.

And he's definitely a threat worthy of respect.

I have no doubt if left unattended, Euron will mutate into some Mythic monster before long.

So I was just re-reading over the character sheets when something struck me. What does Lya actually look like? Because the description on the front page is:

A dusky-skinned, heart-shaped face framed by raven curls that fall to about the middle of her back. Her hair is tugged on by tiny gusts of wind even on still days, but never when she is reading. At those times, however, one is likely to see sparks or arcane fire, sky-blue and glittering gold, chasing each other through her gaze. She is usually garbed in fine but simply-tailored robes of deep blues or forest green meant more for comfort and ease of motion than style.

But in the chapter we meet her she's described as:

"Right then," the girl whispers looking at you carefully "So what are you here to do? Can you tell me." She sounds flustered but truth be told you do not think you wold be doing any better speaking to a Faceless Man.
"Not here," you shoot back. You already feel like you have been saying all too much out here in public counting on the murmur of the crowds to hide your words.
Your companion flushes and says: "Follow me." Now that you are no longer terrified of being given away you realize she is quite pretty with a Myrish complexion heart-shaped face and loose auburn curls. Of all things to notice at a time like this...

Did she shapeshift at some point? :p

I think DP just forgot his original description regarding her hair and in his mind's eye he just saw her as black-haired some point down the line. He's certainly been using raven-haired far more. As for Myrish complexion he's been taking that to mean something along the lines of a Mediterranean skin tone, along the lines of the Rhoynish.

EDIT: tldr the front page is more accurate.

Uhhh... infusions of elemental, axiomatic and positive and negative energies gradually darkened her hair? :V

Ahk. :D Also, apparently the 2nd Legion never got named on the front page. I had a vague idea they were named the Chainbreakers after that battle with Lys though?

@DragonParadox, should this bunch also count as Hero Units? If so, what should everyone be able to do?
I do wonder where we are getting the thousands and thousands of warhorses.
We are currently ruling 16.4 million people. Somewhere in there.

Ok after afew months I've come back and have one question, did we sack the City of Brass or something?

No, but we've helped to fan the flames of war between the Shaitan/Djinni alliance and the Efreeti, plus we assassinated the Bey of Beggars. We also raided one of the Sultan of Brass' prison complexes, from which we extracted a stupendous amount of material wealth.
