Well, a really tough fight. I, for one, like it. This said, holy crap does he seem to have a plentitude of magic items and/or spell effects. Is there any money left in Baratheon's treasury?

Is there any spell we have that can make him do a strength or constitution check? Also we should heal the -8 dex. Bloodwish it away with a lesser restoration with the intent to send back any spells he casts at us. Also Viserys is still stunned from Celerity correct or is that not the case?

Why lesser restoration? Why not just Restoration?

-[] Viserys uses Bloodwish: Restoration to fix the Dex damage and full-attacks with Dark Sister at the same time, dealing non-lethal damage.
-[] Aradia full-attacks Varys, using Skill Trick: Mosquitoes Bite to prevent him realising he is hurt.
-[] Nuri casts Greater Invisibility and moves behind his back, preparing to full-attack him with active Wraithstrike next round, dealing non-lethal damage.
-[] Viserys activates his belt to make another full-attack and casting Resilient Sphere to trap himself, Varys and Nuri.
-[] If Varys casts again, reflect the spell with Serpents Sin, if he reflects it with Spell Turning, use your own Spell Turning from your ring.

@Goldfish, thoughts?

Shadow of the doom then?

Hard to miss when you hit everything within a 5 block radius.

And it's selective so no worry about friendly fire.

Property damage presumably, but not friendly fire.

Selective up to a point.

Also starting a mage fight in the middle of a famous landmark in a city we don't rule is one thing, but throwing around the closest thing to tactical nukes (8th level spells) is another thing entirely.

I'd rather save our nuclear option for when there's legitimately no other choice. The Sealord will not be happy with us annihilating a chunk of his city.

We need increasingly high concentration checks to prevent the spell from hitting friendlies. Given that this is a public plaza, we would kill a ton of bystanders.

Why would our dex penalty make him harder to hit guys?

Also, unless he has some bs class feature allowing him to use his class level as caster level for wands, he got really lucky on his roll to pierce our SR.

Always good to see unreasonably powerful enemies that make all the time and spells spent worthless in the face of the all powerful author handwave.

He's designed to be a challenge, DP gave him a loadout of items, and made him a character sheet before the fight started, now we have to beat that, it's no fun if every fight is a sure victory.

Lower Dex does not actually affect our hit chance in any way.

Most of the big dragons have terrible Dex, doesn't matter. Only going down to zero hurts, everything else is unimportant.
Dex is literally our least important stat.

Hands up who forgot to cast freezing glance before we attacked?

Would it be worth trying now?
