I've worked with the description I had, although taking artistic freedoms here and there ¯\_(ツ)_/¯By now? Something like glowing darkness with dripping blood. Somehow.
Description: Once a almost plain looking blade forged from dragonsteel, this ancestral blade of House Targaryen was remade by the flames of the Dragon King, it's magics rewoven by the Smith of Souls and blessed by gods of death. The slender blade is shaped in the Valyrian fashion and only a few blood red rubies adorn it's hilt. Only the runes inlaid into the blade in the white bone of fiends and monsters hint at it's true might. Though light and swift, it lays heavy in the hand and many who saw it drawn claim to have felt a deep dread settle into their bones, knowing in their very souls that this blade would cut deeper then mere flesh.
@DragonParadox What are we paying Malarys? We need to double it.
Malarys: "Technically you're not paying me at all, Your Grace."
Viserys: "Nonsense. I am paying you the most golden gift of all."
Malarys: "..."
Viserys: "The most golden gift of all--"
Malarys, irked: "Don't say it!"
Viserys: "--IS FRIENDSHIP!"
And the absolute fortune in custom enchanted equipment we keep dropping in his lap. This is accurate. The friendship of kings is a valuable thing.
Also he is drawing a salary as the head of the lawmen

I think we can take it as a given that each and every Companion is independently wealthy these days by a mix of holding an office, investments or receiving government grants for their work. This is accurate. The friendship of kings is a valuable thing.

The only thing we haven't done is hand Rhaella to him in marriage. Which while it's done in this setting; I don't see happening.
Now that I'm thinking of it Malarys turned down Valaena due to her age, but Rhaella is the right age.
Maybe if there is interest in both sides...
Ah. I see that it has come to this.
Anyone attempting to direct Rhaella to a particular suitor may either cease and desist now or suffer my undying wrath.
Shipping is a cancer.
Getting involved in Rhaella's love life really kind of skeeves me out, tbh.
Hssss! No, the shipping charts show Malarys and Lady Phassen! (the Myrish Glass guild lady) and Rhaella and maybe either Rodrik the Reader or Bonifer!

I remember us gently nudging Tyene and Waymar too. It's more of an observation than any attempt for them to pair up.
I think the only couple we didn't leave up to author decision was Viserys and Lya.
We did pretty much the same as I'm currently doing with Richard and Mereth. Letting them work together regularly and seeing what happens.Nudging yes, but I remember the votes to decline Tyene and later on dance with Lya and start the romance as we know it.
I don't remember any votes to directly force Waymar and Then together. But I could very well be wrong with as many votes that have occurred. That would be an easy one to lose track of.
I might have forgotten something, but did we ever do more then letting the two of them work together on some alchemy projects? That's hardly overt action. You and I have some very different opinions on what 'gentle nudging' involves, don't you
Well, not gently.
We told Waymar to get the resurrection scroll for Tyene, which led to them sleeping together, and then after that Waymar came to us to help him convince his father to accept him courting Tyene. We were pretty involved, IMO.I might have forgotten something, but did we ever do more then letting the two of them work together on some alchemy projects? That's hardly overt action.
Hm... maybe it's time for me to re-read, because I completely forgot about that.We told Waymar to get the resurrection scroll for Tyene, which led to them sleeping together, and then after that Waymar came to us to help him convince his father to accept him courting Tyene.
