Toad Stone Sacrifice:

Hallowed Salt Spring: In the place where the toad stone once stood now a spring of salt water bursts from the earth. Strange silvery lichens glitter on the stones like some hidden treasure, but the true worth of the spring is in its waters bequeathing blessings upon the dwellers of land and sea alike.

Ability: To be immersed in the waters of the spring is to be healed of the corruption of the Deep Ones, though any who make the attempt had best be ware for the Merling God is a god of death a not healing. For those most infected by the power ofthe Deep Ones the only healing that can be found is in the embrace of oblivion.

Note: There are no hard and fast rules here because posibile avenues of corruption are so many. So for instance someone who gets slimmed and dominated by an aboleth would be healed just fine, but if you say rolled someone in whose insides are half-tentacles they will probably melt. A skum would definitely melt.

The most important question; Can it be weaponized?

How about all our aberration-tainted people?

Not at the moment, the Water loses its potency if removed from the spring for more than an hour or so

Most could be helped by this, though the very worst off risk dying.

I'll get to that Qohor report after the next update.
Would dissolving enemy Aberrations in the spring count as a sacrifice to the Merling King?

It shall be an amazing tourist attraction, like hot springs or mineral water springs.

You go there for your health like the other types of springs, and if you're lucky you'll get to see the emperor teleport aberrations into the middle of the pool to melt horribly!

10/10 excellent vacation location

  • [X] Accept, even if it is mistaken about having been freed of any mystical chains you can certainly have them broken
[X] Refuse, the fiend is too petty to be worth the effort of binding into service in a manner that you would count secure

I think when you have something the size of a t rex with the agility of a hummingbird, the fear aura becomes sort of unnecessary for any reasonable person.

Nothing that big should be that mobile.
The implications are the interesting bit, tho. That draconic beings, or at least true dragons and some other breeds, can inherently inspire mind-numbing fear.

You can have a society of alien beings whose heigh of cuddly-ness would be giant firebreathing lizards, and if you show then a TD or similar they will still be afraid. It's an out-and-out Ex ability.
