I think we should talk about trade first, ya'll. The Planar Exchange will be up and running by the end of the month, and when it goes live there will be a much smoother flow of goods from Sorcerer's Deep to the Plane of Earth, and vise versa. Now is a perfect time to inform the Xorn, make arrangements for bulk purchases, and for the Xorn to place a similar order with us.

@Duesal How much iron have we got stockpiled? I can find our other metals, but not the iron.

@Azel What business should we conduct here?

I'm not really sure what that would be. The reason there's a trade option is because trade was referenced in the turn vote when dealing with the action.
I guess just continuing and/or expanding our deal for iron.

As for what we would be interested in, that would be any bargains on Cold Iron, Mithral, or Adamantine.

@Duesal What were those shark demons called again? The ones occupying our new quicksilver lake, I mean.

Speaking of how swell the corn are, since blossom didn't go for it.

What are we gonna do to protect them?

They did say the increased trade/wealth would draw... Less than friendly attention.

We should also ask about the heart tree again.

They'll be fine, they're not blind to their vulnerabilities. Just like us, with increased prosperity they'll invest in their own defenses (hence their Deep Delvers getting swanky gear).

Stupid, even for demons, but that Ichor is really dangerous.

Tell Richard to stay back? I'd hate to loose Oathkeeper over some unlucky rolls.
I seriously doubt Valyrian Steel, much less Oathkeeper, could be destroyed this way.

Well, we probably always want more iron, but I remember the Corn having more exotic metals too. Not to mention some soul gems that one time.

We did, but thanks to having the wonderful Efreeti as enemies we're currently good on exotic metals. We could definitely poke at them later if we need to, but for now it's better to be conservative with spending since we're on the precipice of rebuilding the Disputed Lands as a unified whole.
No you would need something more comprehensive like Protection from Energy
@DragonParadox, is Valyrian Steel really something that can be damaged by this, much less Oathkeeper?

Adamant can.
Valyrian Steel is in most ways lesser than that.
Magic items can be destroyed to.

Real Artifacts can likely not, but I'm not sure where Oathkeeper is standing on the item-artifact scale, since DP often uses a much broader definition.

This thing is almost as bad as a Rustmonster, there's a reason everyone hates those.

My point is that Valyrian Steel is actually more magical than the common magical metals, as evidenced by the fact that we can't fabricate the stuff. That's why I assumed it would be more resilient.
