I'm pretty confident that the jig was up. I doubt going to the fridge and forgetting what you wanted is something that occurs to demons, especially said fridge is their likely temperamental and powerful boss.

As I've said, even if it noticed something was wrong, he wouldn't have flipped his shit and started the self-destruct sequence. He would have tried to raise a regular alert or investigate himself.
 
Also, they wouldn't have immediately been able to find Vee in SD. Even if they were fast it could have taken over a minute. That's an eternity in these situations.

[X] Bloodwish a Wall of Force to stop the collapse, shore it up with a Silent (as you've got Spellsurge up) Bloodwish for Greater Stone Shape.

Why waste a bloodwish on Stone Shape, you can't shore up a Wall of Force, it's just going to work until it doesn't and DP wasn't allowing a single casting of Stone Shape to stop the collapse so it's going to fail as soon as WoF does.

Likely, but maybe, just maybe, killing the caster fast enough may help.

And in that unlikely case I don't want to loose people to minor demons or falling stones.

I figured that, with everything resting on the WoF, it'd be simple to shore it up, as it wouldn't be falling down.

@DragonParadox is Extended Wall of Force something we can Bloodwish?

The way I see it, best way to save them is to understand what's going on and then unravel their ritual.

But as we are too good to do that, we ought to stop the boss from finishing the job.

We can get 18 rounds of WoF to do it.

It actually was Go Time as soon as the Coloxus got to the sentry, he wasn't about to realise he had been controlled because he should have just been able to lie his way through to achieve his goals.

He was bound by his master, at a minimum there was a "no lies" effect potentially all the way up to a "do me no harm" effect hence him not having an answer for the construct.

Which means that the master was already aware, not just the minions.

No need to shore up the Wall or anything. Just a basic Wall of Force lasts 18 rounds: everything will be dead by then, so we can just fix it up later. Don't waste rounds now while the boss is alive!

How about we cast Forbiddance with Wild Arcana please? It'll stop anyone from teleporting away in a very wide area!

At that point I would have to ret-con the entire last update since Viserys would know that would likely not work...

Thinking about it it's near enough to Christmas. Would you guys like a retcon of the last update in the spirit of the holidays so you can think about it more? There weren't that many votes anyway.

It doesn't need to be Extended. 18 rounds should be long enough to finish what we need down here.

I don't like changing what's already happened but Greater Teleport is very clear in it's effects, wouldn't they have just slightly altered their destination and tried again when failure occurred? How off can Viserys have been in his estimation?

I really don't think it's necessary, but I won't complain if you want to do that. There is nothing untenable about our current situation.

I still don't care :/

But I would appreciate a retcon in the name of being efficient with stuff like this.

I know ret-cons do not have good asociations around here but I don't think this is one of those times, more like when I misreqad a vote and sent you offto the House of Black and White by accident then made an omake out of it.
