[X] Plan: The Prismatic Wanderer (Researcher ver)

I don't get why the research capabilities were taken out. Means anything we find on our travels stays unresearched until we get home and that could take literal months.

Mathilde would enjoy having this. Forget the utility, forget the efficiency, forget opportunities. This is something that would warm the cockles of her wizardly heart and would be gushed about in her inner narrative for updates to come.

Not quite as cockle warming but still monstrously cool.

[X] Flying Tower
Rather vague but worth an approval vote.

Hate the Elector Countess and Knightly Order votes. An obligation is not a reward and both of those are most definitely obligations.

Utterly uninterested in the armour vote. Mathilde is already killy enough to fight large groups of skilled warriors with no difficulty or danger which she has proven by doing so against Orcs, Skaven and Chaos Marauders. This is utter boredom.

Given what happened the last time we broke a favour system I'm very reluctant to break another one.

[X] Dispensation to study methods of destroying or beneficially transforming Dhar
…sus as heck it might be but that does sound interesting. And we have theoretically just cleared a spot in our research schedule.

The various 'eight small requests' plans are actually more tempting than I expected. However it just seems like such a waste to fritter this away in penny packets when we could instead go all in on MAXIMUM TOWER!

I've missed a lot of debate on the options, is the Elector Count one valid? As i understand it, colleges can't even push through elector vote for Supreme Patriarch/Matriarch position so i am kinda dubious as to the effectivity of such endeavour.

It is, I suspect if you somehow managed to carve the Forest of Shadows into productive land by fire and sword exceptions could be made.

Contingent on actually reclaiming the area first and such, but yes, it is valid.

Dumb idea that Boney is probably going to say "no" to—theres a huge stretch of forest to the north that's technically inside the Empire's borders, but is barely populated and full of monsters.

The people who live in that forest are mostly Hedgewise, who we have a good relationship with (we're also cool with their Goddess).

Inside that forest are three waystone nexuses which are vital to the Empire, but held by the forces of darkness.

There's also a spare Runefang kicking about.

Enter one Mathilde Weber, Elector Countess of the Schattenwald.

I mean, it's not like Nordland and Ostland are using that territory.

If we can conquer it, keep it conquered in the name of the Empire, and reconnect the Nexuses for the benefit of the Empire, then why shouldn't we be it's Elector Count?
The exact lines on the map would be a matter of vociferous debate, and you wouldn't actually get the Runefang or the title until you did those reclamations, but the core idea is one that the authorities of the Empire would be receptive to.

As a general rule, the Empire reacts with extreme dubiousness to anyone claiming that they should get a noble title, unless that person says that they'll provide the land and that land is currently occupied by something hostile to the Empire. At that point the equation stops being 'dilute the power of the Empire's nobility' and starts being 'makes the Empire bigger and safer for free'.

And it wouldn't even be creating the precedent of the Wizard Elector count, Mandred already does that.

Somehow I missed not one, but two updates. Didn't get to vote for socials but people voted for what I wanted anyways.

[X] Plan: The Prismatic Wanderer

This sounds absolutely ridiculous and over the top for this setting, but one you'd find by the dozen in Age of Sigmar, which I'm on board with.

I don't have time to check 50 pages as I'm really really sick, so I hope I haven't missed anything big about this vote.

[x] Having done it and done it well was its own reward.
-[x] Or, as Algard once said, the reward was we got to quite literally slit open reality's underside and meddle with the steaming guts that spill forth.

I fully agree, and i suspect lot of other do as well.
But hey, they are offering us free stuff.
Also not accepting a reward kinda makes everyone else look bad, wizard solidarity and all that, no lowering the reward floor for the next magister.
