Not supporting the annulment is pointless - we know from canon that Daemon just murders her when he wants the Velaryon match, so she's not a meaningful barrier to him getting it.

Otto brings up the big point, and with how closely Daemon and Corlys are working I feel like Viserys could see the downsides too.

Would offering to marry Laenor muffle his possible concerns? I know we have to wait a while after Viserys' marriage, but I don't know how long we have until Daemon kills Rhea making this all pointless anyway.

We need this to succeed to prevent Daemon killing Rhea and usurping her inheritance like in Canon

Rhea also seemed to take that not only as a promise to try to secure Otto's support, but tantamount to a pledge to succeed (even if she wasn't happy at the prospect of having to rely on him and owe him in turn):

So I don't think we can honorably finagle things where we only spoke to Otto but did not secure his support if offered.

As for Jeyne, we're making a fairly obvious move against Daemon, and so really need a crash course in putting down rebellions.

So, clever idea.

Moving Jeyne by dragon is personally advantageous, but causes rumors.
Thankfully Syrax is large for his age, so we have a solution here.

Just bring Alicent along as chaperone.
As handmaiden, this kind of thing can even be said to be part of her duties.

Edit: More seriously, people should consider that there might be concerns other than political for taking a person who has never flown up on a dragon (something Rhaenyra has also never done before, ) into stormweather bad enough that all ships are staying in port.

I like both us these options. However I am not sure about the Otto vote just yet.

I don't really think we need to ask for advice about Alicent. Another couple conversations with her and Rhaenyra can figure out agression flirtation on her own.

If we take another Viserys relationship personal action maybe we can further buff ourself in his confidence.
