Kingswood seems best. Even if people notice us with Alicent there, who cares? There's nothing that scandalous with us meeting with a friend during a falconry event, but there is about us sneaking out from our quarters at night or sneaking into her apartment.

Though if all that Alicent intends to talk with us about is how Otto was trying to get her to marry Viserys then that seems like a bit of a non surprise or secret. Viserys is the king, we were told repeatedly about how if the rest of the realm knew that he was looking to remarry then everyone would be trying to find a bride for him.

No, this goes beyond that. Alicent was not allowed to offer US comfort, as per her words.

Great way to get into a cat owners good graces. We can talk heavier topics in the future, but for now, we should focus on our relationship to her.

But it will in fact make her look more legitimate, which will help any offspring to look more legitimate and, well, it's just a small matter of symbolism, but if we get a say, I think we should decide against that, and a chance to get us int the public eye as a dragonrider.

Kingswood hunt also kinda seems like another opportunity to bond with Johanna about one of her interests, which could offset any offense for picking the objectively coolest marriage option.

That is if asking her about her cats doesn't already give +++relationship points.

Is it ever stated outright that none of the Dragonkeepers know Westerosi, or are we just assuming they don't?

I'm just saying, that if the secret that Alicent is so worried to tell us about is 'just' that her father wanted his daughter to marry the king, then it seems like kind of a non shocker given how even Rhaenyra was repeatedly thinking about how if more people knew about it they would immediately rush to try to offer their own matches to Viserys.

Johanna just mentioned that she feels out of place amongst court because of cultural differences, she's probably homesick. lets ask about her home and family, and see if we can find something that reminds her of home as a wedding gift?

I feel like Johanna would get on wonderfully with Syrax, dragons are just really big cats after all, as all Khajiit know :V

Runs the risk of reminding her even more of all the stuff she left behind and won't be seeing again for a long while. Feels easier to talk to her about the cats, one of the few things that she brought with her from home.

Also the wedding gift should obviously be a cat outfit made from Syrax's scales. Punk ass cats only having fur, bleh, couldn't be me.
