SPG = ...why is there tank artillery in my Mechanized Force?

Tank = big gun,fire in straight line,used on close (10s of metters ) up to line of sight ranges (4 to 5 km),used to destroy armored vehicles (can be tracked or wheeled,but for weight reasons most of them are tracked)

Artillery isnt intended to fire on a straight line,and its range is well beyond line of sight (it can be wheeled,tracked,towed or static)

Everything I know about SPGs and all that I could find makes it clear that SPG =/= Mechanized Vehicle. And, to be fully fair here, those boys do be looking a lot like tanks, so making a bit of humor here shouldn't be that horrific.

Do the augmetics stack actually?

For example, did unlocking augmetics improve our knights and thules?
Since that said [Improve Your Military] and those are part of the Military...yes?

I know how to Fix this! Put a mortar on every tentacle, that way everyones happy!

For real, Half of my designs were just looking at imperial things and saying, how can I make this armiger sized, And I feel unreasonably proud of The Armiger sized mechadendrites. The right mix of Make fun of admech/Chaos warp smiths/Dark mechanicus, Practicality and Gothic silly.

I prefer the catacomb over the ion Gauntlet, BUT the Catacomb is also the easiest thing to replace with adequate combined arms. The catacomb is cool, but it can be replaced easily with combined arms, and is at it best when the Armigers are operating's in a more solo fashion and have to do their own scouting and such. Part of me wishes that this vote came before the APC, Because this got the creative juices flowing. Easier to build some for the elite that shiny and fancy, Then scale it back for the Logistically sound versions.

Definitely will need to remember to propose something like the catacomb next time we do a design thing like this.

Why doesnt Taurus have teleporters? Deploying strike teams on the ground should be very useful, and allow them to support the fleet via boarding it. It could sacrifice speed and some durability without issue surely.
We talked about it during the Taurus design. The tradeoffs are too much for small amounts of teleporting - you really only get to send a squad over at a time, even with a big teleporter. Specifically, if we tried to make it carry 5 SAGs (which it does) while being any smaller than it is, then they'd be packed too tightly and would get debuffs to combat capability/debark speed and stuff. And pulling off invasions is hard enough without your landing ships being slow as molasses. Let's leave the teleporting to the space marines.
