Thunder walks along the world of Cretonia. Its orbital defenses are shattered, its celestial watchers are destroyed, its earthly defenses are under threat; it takes not long to convince the world's rulers to send coordinates to a friendly fleet in orbit, its guns aligned, and its gunners are expert shooters.
Thunder walks along the world of Cretonia. The Orks try to fight, attempt to murder, and plunder their Boyz and Gretchin and more fire and fight and krump with all they can. But the Knights of the Glimmering Federation come in their packs, in their patterns and manifold numbers.
Thunder walks along the world of Cretonia. The Godclads tear at their Gorkanauts and fortresses, the Howlers appear in their midsts and deal death beyond numbers, while Dawns and Stalkers burn and hunt them to the last.
Thunder walks along the world of Cretonia. And the Glimmering Federation nips at its heels to the cheers of the Cretonians.
Yahhhh that would be the result when we have orbital supremecy and can just demolish the Orks like nobody's business. Damn though it sounds like they were taking a real beating and starting to snowball before we showed up. only good thing was that the amount of Anti-orbitals made all ork ships crash and turned it into a ground war with no orbital support.
Hexian Domus finds itself the unwitting host of entire regiments of tanks, Venerable Guardians Mk.1s and Morrigan Heavy Tanks rumbling with their threads over Orks by the hundreds, their cannons speaking in anger and fury unrepentant against the cheering cries of the Orks. At the same time, the Anansi and Angel Walkers skitter over the landscape crossed by trenches and overturned earth thrown everywhere by artillery and orbital attack, their lascannons and autocannons rattling their deadly retorts much to the delight of the Orks in the Angel's case.
yah, given the amount of DAKKA on the Angel it would get that reaction from the orks. Still the sight of the SAG's making landfall must be a welcomed sight for sore eyes.... lets see how they are as a breakaway from the Droman Creed.
Although the Shamanistic Creed gives pause to the Choirs of the Federation present, alongside the monstrosities of Warp and Witchcraft, and although the faith of the people is so close and yet so strange and almost definitely heretical in the eyes of the Droman Creed, its Orthodoxy, and Cerberus, the people here cheer at the arrival of people willing, and able, to fight against the Orks.
And with the end of these Xenos and the deliverance of the technologies to cleanse their world from their shadows and spores without burning continents to the bedrock, so too does an end come to the hostilities...and a beginning dawns as the diplomats of the Federation descend with more than mere aid, using previous works in fighting against the Orks to entice the people here to join the Federation's fold.
Ohhhh right that shit was stuff they did and made to fight the orks.... right I thought that was the Witch cults at first but nope that was not. Yah that's gonna be a problem there. AP hell never ends.
Though the Magi of the Star-Mechanicum are incessant in their berating and furious sermons about the safety and proper operation of a Knight to the pilots of the Order of the Blazing Sun, the people and Magi of Klybessan are anything but, throwing parades and festivals in honor of the pilots of the God-Machines, prayers, and sermons delivered to aid the Machine-Spirits and their servants in all future battles.
Hahaha, ah the 'proper' way of fighting and using the Knights as oppose to who our Knights are being used, wonder what they are worrying about specifically in regards to how our knights operate the amigers?
Good to see how it worked out and makes since the world of Klybessan would love to see them in actions considering its role previously.
Neither of these sides are wrong. The Knights of the Federation took one look at Klybessa and the furious burning fields of battle and, collectively, decided to march unendingly...into the streams of lava. With molten rock flowing from their frames and superheated metal giving them a shine of deadly grace, they advanced, their weapons barking with such ferocity that only burning spirits could have possessed them...or safety had been disengaged by deliberate action, much to the roused fury of the maintenance crews.
The planet and its people are honored to have been host to these hallowed machines and hope for their swift return in calmer times to render faithful service and canticles of maintenance unto their saviors and the servants of the Omnissiah, Machine God, and Motive Force.
OHHHH that's why. They just plow through the lava with no regard at all with safeties on the weapons disengaged, no wonder all the tech-priests were that way! I can only imagine how much replacement parts and maintenance time that all took.
yah I bet they'd be excited and happy for this, with all those Knights there it would feel like their purpose has returned.
The hatred did not stop when the Federation arrived above Fortress. It did not stop when the Orks were cleansed from the world. And it didn't cease when Federation soldiers had to keep the peace from the baseline humans and the native Piscarians.
Though clearly Abhuman, as their stature and records can attest, the hatred runs deep in the people here, especially as the faith of the Piscarians runs deeper still. Troubles from the fact that the Droman Creed and not the Imperial Cult is the dominant Faith of the Federation arose with both sides, not aided at all by the crews of the various ships seeking information from the local Abhumans, especially when the Thules managed to break free from their handlers.
Still, the world is free, and all can see that the Federation is the one here, now, and not the Imperium. They are far and long since away, but the Federation guns speak on their world today and will likely do so tomorrow.
Yup, about what I expected there, they allowed did a ceasefire to fight the orks and this was a war where warcrimes piled up as one side wanted to exterminate the other. We stopped the fighting but now the problem is if either side wants to leave the world. Ahhh so very deep into the God Emperor but we should be able to sway them..... maybe. Problem is the Piscarians are told its a sin to have gone this far and be this different form the human baseline and has been a foundation for their society, to see they're aren't sinned or damned is... rather worldbreaking for them and thus refusal to listen to it.
Damn it all, round up the Thules do NOT let them down there again
.
There were no Orks on Nimus Sius.
The world had eaten them.
The people had killed them.
And the wrath of the ancient spirits had taken care of the rest.
But still, the Federation came with offers of aid and succor.
Still, the Federation came with food and medicine.
Still...the people listened.
Ah, so like Catachan in a sense. still damn, I'm surprised it ate the Orks and stopped them from spreading so effectively. Works ot for us and we offer the people of the planet even living space and such in orbit of the planet. Helps solves a lot of problems there. I mean putting a station over there that can house 20 for a population of what? 27 million? more than enough and only costs a signal action.

(SIIC Note: Cretonia wishes for the restoration of their orbital defenses. The Fortress Initiative will handle such, but additional offers may be appreciated.)
Oh that's easy, auto-build it and that's in, sure sure what else they could offer.... though this IS the QM we are talking about so making an offer for two defense stations to see what's lying around.
[][Hexe] (Write-In)
(SIIC Note: Offers should first focus on more materialistic aid or exemptions from an (eventual) crackdown against their local branch of heresy. Offers of the latter may not be appreciated at home, though.)
Oh not too bad an action or two worth but that's it.
[][Klybessan] (Write-In)
(SIIC Note: We may be able to sway them by founding a new Order of Knights.)
huh, like new order for the Knights? or a new order in general the planet would supply as it needs a purpose?
[][Piscariii's Fortress] (Write-In)
(SIIC Note: Yes, the native Piscarians (Homo Sapiens Scutum) are Abhumans with enough mental maturity for consent with baseline humans. No, this does not mean that Thules get extra shore leave. If such requests mention the word "daddy," they get automatically rejected, along with a formal reprimand being delivered to the Thules in question.)
HAH, of course the Thules would try to rush down after hearing all of that. seems like most of it is controllable before now.
[][Lathysius] (Write-In)
(SIIC Note: The people are heavily against expansions into the wilderness, and much of our efforts should take the route of technological aid and orbital colonies for the people to live in.)
perfectly fine with us and most likely only worth a single point.
17 million.
oh wow lower than I thought, makes sense when the planet is trying to kill your people and punishing you when you take too much. Just one action for the station is enough for all the families to leave for some thing.
At most an Action for each world. But that is the uppermost extreme limit.
In order of what you proposed:
The Fortress Initiative has already been hard at work producing fortresses in your systems, that's what those stars in wheels are. Th proposal by SIIC would be just you going: "yeah, we'll rebuild your stuff no biggie."
Half an Action in material aid and letting a Heresy stand, or using an Action to deal with the Heresy by okay-ing their local heresy.
An Action to found the Order.
Below abstraction, so gucci.
Below abstraction, so gucci.
yah that's about what I expected and only half a point for it? great, so we only have to two like 2 actions worth and its all good, it feels weird to have things go this simple.
Be left alone to pray to the God-Emperor.
.... fair enough but at same time damn it. let it be like that and send missionaries, we'll have of something at a leasts.
A bunch of stuff, most notably the Not-Quite-Chaos-Spawn, and a whole lot of theological differences that are basically nothing to the layperson but will spawn fistfights in the clergy.
I am surprised it was only half a point worth.
1 action to get some Thules a bit of theological education and nun Sister of Battle outfits.
I am ALL for the Nun outfits, Sister of Battle too. and of course they would.
In-Universe? Blazing Sun's getting big, and people may be interested in such a massive concentration of military power be shrunk from one set of hands to two.
Out-Of-Universe? New Order makes Dopamine go happy.
Ohhh is that why? I guess it makes sense given the sheer amount of warpacks we have now and what it could do if the organization went rouge. Also the QM is starving for creative again. we don't feed him stuff for creating. like more melodies and the like.
