So what did we get with the industrial automation?
I think we got .400 points per action in the fleet construction for 1.400 points per Action compared to the previous 1.000, we can create 3 grand armies and 5 knight orders compared to the previous 2 and 3 and we can make 40 grandis, 30 modeste immensus, 8 Immensa Immensus and 4 Magnificus God Engines when previously it was only 20, 10, 4 and 2 respectively and the Momentus went from 5 to 3 actions and Deus Machina to 6 from 8

The Glimmering Commission - [Canon]
The Glimmerling Commission

The Admiralty weren't expecting much out of the Federation when they had signaled their assent to taking up a shipbuilding commission, but even if the Glimmerlings decided to hold back their more advanced technologies, there were high hopes that their "Trident" Frigates from back in the War would be considered old enough not to be particularly secret, and a number of those would make for a useful supplementary force.

What none of them were expecting was the Federation deciding to take your commission as a challenge, and proceeding to develop an entire line of bespoke vessels, fully in line with the Phalanx Doctrine, but integrating their advanced Lance Technologies and their own insights in voidship construction. Early shakedown tests of the first vessels of the "Caelum, Equuleus, and Lacerta" classes have proven remarkably promising, filling a longstanding hole in the FDN's formations, while being relatively simple in their construction--and thus, not a great strain to your logistics to support.

Their lance weapons retain the shocking range displayed of the 'Trident' Frigates from the Voxx Primus Conflict--now revealed to be extremely precise, adaptive lensing system that allows for even tighter beam projection than normal, having triple the effective striking distance of more conventional energy weapons with no loss in power (Indeed, as the range closes, the energy delivered on target actually increases distinctly--a property that is maliciously abused in the Equuleus-class), but they also retain acceptable armor despite a lack of focus in the field, as well as a standard of reliability-in-class that only our very best yards can match. Most notably, is their exceptional level of acceleration and maneuverability, evidently brought on by precise engine and hullform gravitational tuning with each vessel. Of all our vessels, only the Iron Mind Flyssa, Jackal Scale Raider, and Starry Crown can match the Caelum-class Lance Destroyer in that field, though it lacks the archaeotech armaments that give it such unmatched power and effectiveness, the simple fact of the matter is that the Caelum can be mass produced with ease, though the crew requirements are far above the median standard due to limited automation available onboard.

While determining specific tactics for the use of these new vessels is beyond the scope of this report, their combination of exceptional speed, range, and agility seem to be equally well suited to fit within a Phalanx Battleline as it is to dispatch as skirmisher ships, as the speed of a Lacerta-lead battlegroup is sufficient to outpace all but the lightest Sect voidships, and with discipline and training, it may even be possible to retain a separate Phalanx among these groups.

Suffice to say, the Bureau of Ordnance grants Full release of funding to complete the commission, and to establish a proper role for the new vessels in the days to come.

Results: Voidship Commission to the Glimmering Federation goes well, they produce three bespoke ship classes with the intent of excelling against what you've told them the Sect of the Feculant Maggot does in battle, early tests are extremely promising, and also mildly concerning in how far Glimmerling Voidships have advanced beyond your projections, in that even with them being obviously simplified for export, the performance still is not reliant on heavy automation or difficult-to-impossible to reproduce archaeotech.

MiseryLovesCompany:
Ten Fucking Gs on the Destroyer? With a Light Cruiser grade spinal lance?

Holy fuck, the Glimmerlings be cooking.

EDIT: Wait, what's that bit about the Lance Scattershot Lens in the Escort Frigate? I've never heard of that before.

EvilMuffin:
It's a shotgun for your lances, so your lance decides to go "Fuck this guy in particular", cuts the range down, but when you've already got triple the range...

Amateuron:
Are those ship shrines going to be causing us problems?

EvilMuffin:
Nah, their creed's been sifted over with a fine tooth comb by the Inquisition, it's still Imperial Creed descendent, just sort of ended up syncretizing with the Mechanicum and a couple other ideas. You can totally replace it with your own stuff, but why bother, they're nice little shrines and they make the Machine Spirits happy.

MiseryLovesCompany:
I see they've managed to squeeze anti-boarding measures into all of them too, that's handy, especially if they weren't panicking and we are going to get a faceful of Tyranids sometime down the line.

EvilMuffin:
Speaking of which, the Glimmerlings decided to do a pro-gamer move as part of this action...

MiseryLovesCompany:
Oh fuck, what now?

First Customer Bonus

They sent us a Battleship!?!?

my god the negaverse is *exploding* about how this BB is so damn disgusting.

and also worrying like hell that we can actually pump those shits out.

Current Symphony: [A Cry For The Future]. Current Warp Tremors: [Medium - Decreasing].
A Cry For The Future - Gain 0.25 Actions for every Total Action spent. Actions gained this way are rounded up. +1 Warp Tremors per Turn.
Hm. I'd say this is the last turn we can use A Cry For The Future.
Now, 0.5 action spent on Duchy ships, so... Hm...
If we spend three actions on Military actions (Fleet Construction/Ship Design/Titan Construction/Archeotech Expedition), that generates 1.5 AP. We can spend the 0.5 on the Duchy's ships, and the extra 1 on the Lament's Legion. We'd then get 1 Symphony action, too.
...We can both retrieve our Titans and build some Immensa Immensus in a single turn, and still have AP left.

Hmm is it possible to build another fleet and go on another expedition? I am sure we have the ship reserves for it. We can send the new fleet to assist the other one and maybe have a nice archotech expedition as well with whatever we have left behind.

Im excited about the new wave if choirs incoming
The more we have the more songs we can activate at the same time

The psiquic awakening only strenghten us

Minor quibbles that prevent Full Canonicity; the armor on the non-BB ships would be "acceptable," equal matches would be the "Iron Mind Flyssa," "Jackal Scale Raider," and "Starry Crowns," with it being "concering how advanced they are beyond our projections," but also noted that the "crew requirements are, however, far above median standards due to lacking, or primitive, automation of ship components."

Otherwise nice. :>

Let me fix that up then!

EDIT: Done, how's that work for you?

I note you didn't say the qwibbles in the Battleship reaction, huh? :p
