[X] Oddr: Poke the plants around the site's now larger perimeter with arrows at a good distance to see if anything interesting or threatening like the eating tree is there and lying in wait.

My previous idea for a second action was before I knew there was a language to learn. So I'm now uncertain and kinda unclear on what even are available actions.

@I.F. Ister do we get houses if we don't build them ourselves or what? Is learning a language in this time frame viable? What are the options here?

I'd have done it too, but someone's got to do Guard Duty and I've got a trait that gives me at least a potential circumstantial bonus.

Also, it probably shouldn't be only me doing Guard Duty.

Well, if we've got second actions to play with...

[x][Second Action] Torgarr Villagefeeder will farm. We've got a variety of fruits. The fruits have seeds. We have a variety of cultivatable edible plants. Torgar will cultivate them. Churn the Earth, plant the seed, encourage the Plant, grow the food. Torgarr does what he was born to do. We may have enough for now... but every now has a later.
I mean, they're Norse. That's kind of a low blow. Norse don't want to rest in peace; they want to rest in asskicking, right?
Thankfully, they won't be resting long.

Current evidence suggests that they're both smart enough and have a high enough pain tolerance to play dead, so make sure you're cutting things off and otherwise doing Maiming amounts of damage.

So we're, somehow, still in the northern hemisphere. Good.
Can someone try to make fodder for the animals? (if we have any)

Edit: If we don't have horses I want you all to know I WILL be trying for DINO CAVALRY!

Yeah, someone else should join you there. Personally, I think as possibly the only one with an actual social skill (and certainly one of few), learning a language is a high priority for Ragnarr. Not as much as his family having a house, though, probably.

...

Are we in NQ Florida?

Are we in NQ Florida?

DID WE JUST BECOME FLORIDA MAN?

Seems plausible. No gators yet, but it's a possibility.

I'm buying one now, but... Uh.

Guard Duty is important, see that Defenses rating? See how it's Fucking Zero?

Here's hoping that learning the Language also doubles as a Learning action about the surroundings, because hoo boy this place is Scary.

Ivor will probably be experimenting with the local flora and fauna and trying to figure out some recipes. Finding the stuff is only half the battle after all! Though I'm also up for exploring again.

At least there's plenty of Ordstirr to be gleaned from the taming!

You know, as long as we don't get Fucking One Shot as a populace.
The Gods Themselves: "No one could possibly be stupid enough to try to survive here, or stubborn enough to succeed."

Norse: "Hold my mead."

wait, the guy who got killed by a random teleporting ice bird was my cousin? may I join the hunting party for it. Probably next summer, since fighting that thing in winter seems ill advised?
