Since the vote is obviously dying down and we need distractions (/s) I propose a debate on the best spirit beasts our fellow members of the CRX gang could get, in adequation with their background and current supposed build. (You'll notice that LQ is the only one to have a besat, as opposed to a Sun (GG) Moon (Meng Dan) or item spirit (Xia Lin). yrs said on discord that it was mostly for narrative reasons (can't have too many sub-characters bound at the hip with a character), but we can still dream a little !
So for Meng Dan, since he appears to have a pretty low interest in actual combat and probably has the usual Meng suite of pure spiritual arts, and for some reason I have him pegged as a Water/ Darkness/ Moon cultivator, I think he wants something with heavy physical presence, capable of both offense and defense, and with either hibernation capabilities or alternate interests to pursue while he's stuck in a library with his little moon sister...

I think he would have taken all his spirits with him on the Wall unless they were too low realm for the journey, but that's a fun thought

We sure as hell can kick Zhengui out of our dantian while he's asleep, so I suppose the opposite is also true. Any beast you'd like to give to GG or XL?

Kicking someone out of our dantian seems very different from storing someone in there to me.
That said, i have no actual preference for spirit beasts in general, or interest in adding to the cast that way.
I just find the idea of a spirit bear companion we never meet because they are sleeping funny.
I guess XL making friends with the horse might be nice development.

Xia Lin doesn't really need a mount any more than LQ does, but something with mass and speed looks nice (don't mind the front legs being stupidly short
