I tend to improve our relationship with our mother or elder sister. It is really unpleasant when there is discord in the family.
... Okay, I know it probably isn't the best use of our time, but there is this one particular trick that I really wanna master.
Having a friend with a raven fylgja would be really usefull. *cough* Aki Runson *cough*Well, if you were still there and not already scrambling away, that is. Your instincts scream at you, warning you that you do not want this fight.
You take their advice and leave as quick as you can, the knowledge that there are indeed monsters deep in the woods safely stored in your mind.
And also the witch. Who you need to talk to if you want to make any progress on your fylgja.
That trick mastered and a trick to quickly follow an attack with a different atack (axe to the leg followed by shield hand punching enemies throat, axe to the head and knee to the groin) learned could be really effective with reasonable axe and glima skills.... Okay, I know it probably isn't the best use of our time, but there is this one particular trick that I really wanna master.
Hmm wonder what exactly a 10 relationship with a friend would mean. Like would that open up romance options? Like childhood crush and stuff like that? Then again that would have to be Abjorn if we did that.
Are we sure we want to keep poking about the forest filled with monsters as a small child? Our axe is nice, sure, but I don't think it is fine enough to let us overcome anything that actively goes after us there.
I do agree we should try to at least get better at running or dodging, maybe pick up a defensive trick before going deeper....
And does anyone know what the Norse witches are like? Only one I can think of is from Beowulf....
Maybe we should try to make a gift, after we find where she lives? Kind of rude to bother someone going deep in the forest to live alone and just ask them to teach us without anything in return.
essentially, magic used to help is good magic, if it hinders it is bad magic. There is no shame in killing a practitioner of bad magic, even if they are a woman.

Yes, it is entirely a matter of perspective on whether or not something is good or bad magic. No, the Norse don't really care that this is hypocritical, they're too busy farming and plotting to kill their neighbors
I mean, we're not planning on fighting any and everything we meet. Fleeing is also possible, if needed.
No.
If you put the Hugr training dice towards a trick for combining axe based fighting and Knee-Groin Trick based fighting you have my vote.[X] Give the hat to Asva

Yeah, overall this looks like a good plan. Has some diplomacy and a bit of reckless endangerment, really I can't see what would cause me to change my mi-
No.
I refuse. I've been in this Questing biz for a while, and saying we'll do something later never pays out well. There'll always be something more important, always some other trick we need to pick up or some other fire we need to put out, and before you know it 50 turns will have passed and we haven't taken a single step towards Mastery. It is the Questing equivalent of saying "I'll propose to my girlfriend after I return from the war".
If we aren't going to train Knee-Groin now when nothing is trying to eat us, we aren't going to train it.

If you wanted to, you could, feasibly, travel to China. It'd be difficult, and probably end in your death, but you could do it.
