And What a Dance it Was (NO SV, War is Coming, Prepare)

[X]To Daemon, and Father: You are going to Fly to Yi-Ti, and find your fathers. Both of them, and bring them home.

Screw this. I refuse to leave them behind, given everything that happened.

[X]To Volantis, and Gael: You are going to see what your sister is up to, and see just what the hell is going on with the Red Priestess that saved her, and took her.
[X]To The Great city, for an Assassination: You are going to be killing kin. But something tells you that this kin does not view you as such. They say Targaryens are closer to gods than men… But you know better. They are closer to madness than greatness.
I kind of trust our dads, plus since both of these missions are in Volantis we may do a 2x1

I know, I meant that we have multiple kids now who might actually able to see our sister growing up.

Also yeah that limit on how much we do is really bad, I'd put Yi Ti and Saera's bastards up at the top, with Gael coming at a very close third and then Braavos because while they may not be our problem now they would be our neighbors if that happened.

Also I'm still salty about how we left things with Alicent so a part of me wants to drag Daemon back so that he can suffer from his loved ones too.

To be honest this update just felt weird. The Alicent and Lucien scene kinda felt forced? Not saying Lucien isn't like Daemon but more how the talk happened and where it went?

Then there is the Viserys scene. Like why? This weird set up Viserys and Lord Strong did. Like Lucien better be angry for this even with the information provided. If Lucien is truly like Daemon I can't see Lucien not holding a grudge against Viserys, Lord Strong and Harwin Strong.

A darkness from the east even a dragon can't defeat

The Problem was that, this update I wanted to focus entierly on the people around us, and go from POV to POV detailing our situation, and also showing us from an outsiders perspective.

That took multiple drafts and I was very unsatisfied with them, to the point where I scrapped it and just rewrote what I had entierly in Luciens POV.

Which is probably why it felt weird, and also why I did not like the update at all.

It was something completely different and inferior to the drafts previously.

The thing about the change I made is that it took away Viserys' internal monologue, which showed just how dire he felt the situation was, how he didn't have Daemon to do his thing, and showed just how much he relied on his brother, not only as a force of violence but as a confidant and a second opinion. Even if he wasn't that good at ruling, he was damn good at telling him the truth and doing violence.

Also: It shows how he miscalculated because he thought you were Daemon. Because you were raised by him

it also was a moment where he realized he was wrong to use trickery to get you to the Capital, because of how angered you became, instead of how bemused Daemon normally is.

Obviously, you're a different person, so the way he uses to get you to the capital, is not a way he will try again. Especially after your anger at him.

Like I really wanted to make this entire thing go through the eyes of everyone but Lucien, because they had all the information. and we lacked it.

Just hope Lucien doesn't just forgive Viserys, Lord Strong and Harwin Strong for this. Like far as Lucien saw they just tricked him, threatened his life and then went "It's just a prank bro" on Lucien. Like Lucien loyalty was unquestionably and they just did that on him. That's how you lose loyal followers and friends. Just because something is understandable doesn't make it acceptable.

He won't.

Or rather, i'll leave it to you, as to how he reacts.

If he wasn't our king, goodfather, and uncle I'd deck him in the schnozz, this will just let us know that for all that Viserys is seen as a good King he can also stretch his authority on a whim.

And another part of me sees this as Lucien getting mad at Viserys only for Baelon to learn of it and become even more justified.

Look prophecy of darkness implies bad things.

I'm curious to know what happened in Valyria for Saera's kids to turn out like this.

Too much dungeon crawling through the hell on Earth
Also, they may have become possessed by spirits of Valyrian Dragonlords, and the Mother of all Dragons.

Typhoon. BTW, can end the world if she gets out, but thankfully, it's not able to.

Mostly because that is Viserys' Story that we cannot affect.
Since Dad seems to have taken the palace, what has happened with the Emperor?
He's leading his armies against the Not Mongols and the league of shadows.

A rare thing for any of the YI-Ti Emperors to do, but considering the fact that his entire empire is at risk of being conquered...

Well, the Emperor got back on his horse.
Has he rescued only Visenya, or has he managed to rescue other girls from the Harem?
He's rescued over three thousand women from the Emperors Harem.

And a vast majoraty want to bone him because he rescued them from sexual slavery, and have no other way to reward him, but through their bodies.

And well... Valaar is a good man, and has refused all of them for his wife.
