The Old King's Court Part 1: Arrival
Bring your Mother: Your mother knows court, despite not being in it for years. You trust her to keep you safe. (Will remain as a new courtier at Dragonstone, and make herself available to serve the Prince)
Riding with the Prince on his Dragon: The Prince has offered to take you and your family to the Capital on his dragon, to give you the sensation of flying, and how you like it.
Bringing your mother was always the option that was going to be the correct one in your mind. She had experience at court, and she was wonderfully prepared for the sudden movement of picking up her life and home and being prepared to start again, even for the moment. She had rented out your home for a few weeks to some traveling merchants, and some friends would make sure to collect.
However, she was not happy about the method of traveling to the Capital.
"Lucien, you asked to ride his dragon?" She asked as she looked at the large beast that was before her, saddled and waiting to be ridden by you, the Prince, and your mother.
You nodded, with a smile. You needed to have some sort of experience with riding a dragon, and While you wished to ride Grey Ghost himself, you also were not stupid. You did not have a saddle, Grey Ghost would not like to be poked, measured, and otherwise forced to suffer through that little important thing for a rider.
You had heard stories about those that tried to ride a dragon barebacked. They either ended with the rider surviving after a near impossible indescribable event… or they fell to their deaths, failing to hold on.
You were sure that there was some truth to those stories, but there was something that you did not put much stock into. As there were no deaths from a rider falling from the Dragon in the entire history of the Targaryen Family here in Westeros. But the fact that stories existed means that they happened, and happened enough to where they continued to be told.
So better be safe than sorry. Plus you needed to carry a little bit more things, and the Prince's saddle was capable to carry an extra bag.
Mother was not happy about it. "I've-" She then took a moment to shake her head. "Very well."
You then nodded smiled and walked towards the dragon, to mount up and fly.

Reaction (Mother):

It was impossible to describe the feeling of air in your hair, the whispers of the great air, and the roars of dragons flying.
But your mother did. "WOOOOO!" She screamed as Prince Baelon laughed, while you held on tight, trying your best to keep your grip on the saddle.
She was afraid yes, and as she screamed, she was being drowned out by the clouds and the dragons.
Yes, Dragons. Grey Ghost was following you, and despite its lack of a rider, it was flying in formation, following the elder dragon with distance and respect.
He knew what was going on, and knew you were on the other dragon and was trying to keep you safe, by staying close to you.
The ocean below moved with a speed that even a ship that sailed with full wind could not move as quickly as you did. You were above the world and the world itself moved below you. It was like you were
And when the hour passed… you could see the Rising Red Keep and the destination of this adventure. The Dragonpit.
There was always something to be said about the capital. The great dome of the Dragonpit, and the smoke that rose above from the dragons that slept and were cared for, even when they were kept in rather spacious cages… Yet cages they were.
As you landed, you saw several men with large sticks and staves, along with many younger men… speaking Valyrian, and they moved with grace and skills of herding dragons. It was strange…
As you dismounted, there were several dozen of these headers that were confused at the Grey Ghosts' appearance, and there was confusion among their ranks, as they wondered what to do, before Prince Baelon told them. "The young Dragonrider from Dragonstone is here, see that his dragon is cared for."
At that, they immediately took positions, and while Grey Ghost seemed.. .uneasy, he saw that you were safe, and the sensation on your neck seemed to lesson. He was… feeling you, feeling how you felt.
You were uncomfortable, but you were with your mother, and she was keeping you calm.
Even if her energy and enjoyment of the ride were seeping off her. "That was incredible." She said with a smile. "How do you not enjoy every moment of that?"
The Prince smiled. "Lots of practice and responsibility, and training. Being a dragon rider is not only constant care for the Realm but also for oneself. A Dragon is a beast yet, but it is more than that. Far more." He then looked at you. "Tell me, Lucien, how did you enjoy your first dragon ride?"
What do you say?:

You have arrived at King's Landing, what do you do?:
[]Immedeatly go to court: you need to get to court so that you can get this introduction out of the way, and so you can get to the court itself.
[]Spend time with the Dragonkeepers: The Dragon keepers are very interesting. Monks and the like were dedicated to caring for Dragons. It's quite interesting.
[]Get something to Eat: You are hungry, and you want to eat something.
[]Be with Grey Ghost: Grey Ghost is uncomfortable being around so many people, and he clearly does not wish to have so many people that will attend to him. You need to explain to him… if you can, that is necessary.
AN: Enjoy.
