And What a Dance it Was (NO SV, War is Coming, Prepare)

[X]Plan: Baelon, I'm literally Six years old
-[X] "I want peace my lord, I want my mother to smile and my father to be happy. I didn't want the world at my doorstep lord Baelon, but if it means that Grey Ghost and I can help my family, then I'll do it."

Is this good? I'm trying to get the idea across that our boy knows he's in deep shit and while he's not fully aware of the situation, he still wants to help, while at the same time trying to articulate that as a child.

We'll for one thing we're six.

Secondly I like it.

Also, I will be writing another update involving dear old dad and Baelon talking.

Well "Talking"

It will lead to a trait for dad.

:jackiechan:
Let's be fair here, this is the first time ever that someone who isn't explicitly a Member of the Targaryen Family has tamed a wild Dragon.

I don't think even Baelon really knows how to respond to this. Heck, he may even expect us to give an answer like a Child would and this is basically just him going through the formalities.

Also, bless the Magoose-Dice! But let's see when the other shoe drops.

Yeah literally six. No idea what he wants exactly besides him and his family being happy. Rhaenyra got to see Lucien for the first time. She knows what is going on?

Heres a little spoiler about Baelon's situation:

He really really really wants to make sure we aren't going to try to set the dragon on dragonstone, or, more importantly, going off to see the world.

Also he wants to take us to court and try and get some kind of reward from dad, while he does other stuff.
Us: I just want my mum and dad to be happy.

Baelon: ...yknow, fair enough.
Pretty much, as long as we don't say anything profound or stupid, he'll just accept it.
Rhaenyra got to see Lucien for the first time. She knows what is going on?
She knows he's a dragon rider, and that he is a mute.

She also thinks we are utterly insane to tame a dragon at our age, and things that other dragons will be born and tamed by people like us...

Spoiler: She's right.:V

Asking a child what he wants, what chat think: a castle? Nobility? Arranged marriage? Some mythical peace?
What the child actually wants: A candy? A brother? More fish? A playmate? Maybe even mystical beef?

Mystical beef, huh? Well, there is always Cannibal if the Targaryens get around to putting it down.
The Cannibal becomes our Rival and we spend decades trying to kill it!:V
Why is this a problem?
Well, the last time a dragonrider went off on an adventure... they went to Valyria.

While unintentional, it nearly killed the dragon (Balerion the Black Dread, the largest dragon in Westeros), and killed the rider as collaterol.
