And What a Dance it Was (NO SV, War is Coming, Prepare)

Big J is not breaking the 4th wall.

He's slowly becoming Senile and suffering from dementia.

Which he did have based on what happened to him in the last year of his life.
[X]King Jaehaerys, the First of his Name: He coughed as he saw you. "Many things have happened because of the will of the Gods? But… this is something far more." He then smiled. Hello, my child… Do you recognize me?

Well you convinced me. I want to see a dementia Jaehaerys treat Lucien like the kid he always wanted. :V

I'm 90% sure that him living as long as he did was both a blessing and a curse for the poor old man, a reign unparalleled in length and a farily peaceable time, but having outlived all his friends and family, I'm honestly surprised it was just dementia.

Edit: posted early

[X]Baelon the Brave, Prince of Dragonstone: Your Lord, whom you have seen many a time in the distance on the Castle Walls, sat down and looked at you. "You have something that does not belong to you. But that was not your choice, was it?

Guys, its unlikely that Jaehaerys ever met us. He's probably confusing us for someone else since he's going senile.

And senile people are not fun to talk to. Trust me I know.

Yeah, that's why our Lord, the Hand of the King and the Heir to the Throne can easily go in his ageing father's stead.

We will be presented at court most likely, so it's not like we will never meet him. Senile as he is.
...

Now, I'm not going to say we will have issues with that, but the Old man's health is rapidly deteriorating, and he will die in 3 years time, possibly sooner because of our actions.

You might not have a chance to meet the old man.

It's pretty obvious they never met. Don't think anyone was thinking that. I want to meet him because I find him interesting and he is only kinda starting to lose it. Do curious how the relationship would be. Also Jaehaerys doesn't have long so got to meet him now or he gonna lose it soon.

And Baelon dies the following year, unless the dice can say otherwise. @mrsean22
Baelon is terminal.

He's going to die, nothing anyone can do about that.

But what happens afterwords, from the reaction and the possible fun times ahead...

Thats where things are going to get interesting.

Have something that doesn't belong to Lucien? Is Baelon talking about Greyghost? If so is Baelon implying Greyghost belongs with the Targs? Kinda hard to own a wild dragon that hasn't had a rider until now.

I mean, lets make things perfectly clear here.

The only dragon riders here, are Targaryens.

As for Grey Ghost's status?

He was a wild dragon... and now he is not.

See, we changed the calculus of the entire situation here.

And that means Baelon is going to have some choice words.

He's going to scold us isn't he? I can't see him truly mad at a child but I can see him pull the 'dissapointed dad' look.
I mean lets be honest here.

We kinda tamed a dragon and threw the entire balance of power in Westeros on its head until they figure out what the hell is going on.

Of course, he's going to have disappointed Dad Energy.

He has to deal with this shit.:V

Well the Targs could easily spin it that Lucien does have Targ blood in him. Just depends on how far back they say it is for Lucien. Like say his grandparent on his father's or mother's side were a Targ bastard.
