To add to the discussion on Nuln, I'm not really worried about it falling anytime soon without Mathilde's intervention. The Elector Count is on guard for retaliation, the Emperor is likely monitoring the situation very closely along with the various College's. It was also mentioned somewhere that Elspeth von Draken spends half her time in Nuln, so she is probably keeping a close eye on it as well. Any skaven doing more than skulking in the shadows when she's around are skaven I don't particularly envy.

This one is approval voting right? Then
[X] The Waystone Project
[X] Markgraf of Eastern Stirland
[X] Ambassador-at-Large to the Karaz Ankor
[X] Bodyguard and Tutor to Prince Mandred
[X] Border Princess of the Howling River
Managed to narrow it down to these.

[X] The Waystone Project
[X] Markgraf of Eastern Stirland
[X] Spymaster of Wissenland
[X] Ambassador-at-Large to the Karaz Ankor
[X] Bodyguard and Tutor to Prince Mandred
[X] Border Princess of the Howling River

[*] Loremaster-at-Large of Karak Eight Peaks
A good expansion on what we've already got going on. Probably the best option for Eight Peaks itself.
[*] The Waystone Project
For learning more of the deep lore and maybe ending the feud between Eight Peaks and the High King.
[*] Markgraf of Eastern Stirland
To finish what we started.
[*] Spymaster of Wissenland
To continue our war against the underworld and expand the East Empire Company.
[*] Ambassador-at-Large to the Karaz Ankor
A good option to work on unifying the Karaz and Empire, balances our alliegence to both well. Probably the place we can do the most good work for the Dwarves.
[*] Bodyguard and Tutor to Prince Mandred
The depths of Imperial Politics, but similar to Karaz Ambassador, probably the place we can do the most good work for the Humans.

Border Princess is also good, but it seems like something we also could do at any time similar to the Elf adventure vacation.
[X] Loremaster-at-Large of Karak Eight Peaks
[X] The Waystone Project
[X] Markgraf of Eastern Stirland
[X] Spymaster of Wissenland
[X] Ambassador-at-Large to the Karaz Ankor
[X] Bodyguard and Tutor to Prince Mandred

Thanks picklepikkl for letting me know how the tally works! Hopefully this is good enough formatting.

[X] Governor-General of Swamp Town

While the EC is on guard, he is also the EC historically unwilling to let outsiders help him out.
And he's asking for help for once.

I'm a little skeptical that the Wissenland would be "all skaven, all the time." The questers initially thought the same thing about being Stirland's spymistress ("all Sylvania, all the time!"), but half of Mathilde's tenure was spent chasing down tax dodgers, rooting out spies and saboteurs, and establishing a brand new spy network of her own. And magical research.

Don't forget the epic battle against the bane that was Wizard Chic.

So, with all this talk of lost holds over the seas, Word of Boney that the dwarfs had an outpost there during the golden age and the maybe not canon Spine of Sotek Dwarfs...

Remember that axe Kragg has, and how the Elf that had it also had a chest full of Lustrian gold?

Yeah, I don't think the axe was made by the Norse dwarfs exactly.

Now there is a thought... still not enough to tempt me to Lustria unless Panoriamia has a hankering to study Amazon magic or something but I can see why one would want to poke it.

'Surprise I found another lost hold' would be a hell of a thing to show back up to K8P with.

Speaking of Panoriamia, our relationship with her is one more reason why we might want to go Waystones. the jades have Waystone secrets they do not share with outsiders... other than kin because well Jade Wind. So we have one way to even more lore to add to the elf and dwarf varieties

I'm not entirely sure I want this, but I do want to see why Roswita thinks Mathilde is needed to jump on Sylvania until it stops misbehaving.
[X] Spymaster of Wissenland
Also lower on my list, but I want to see how bad the skaven situation is there...

He could be seeing it as a way to reduce the scrutiny he's currently under, without inviting in Empire agents or troops. From his point of view, Mathilde has spent the last several years outside the Empire. For a Count that is prickly about his independence, Mathilde might be viewed as someone with loose ties to the Empire and least likely to erode his authority. She also has a track record of handling problems, which he might consider a bonus, depending on his situation, I guess.

Would another Karag Dum type of expedition to Lustria later on would work for you if we end up not taking the position there?
