I'm glad I was able to take the updates all the way to war planning, feeling really tired right now in addition to arm pain where I got the vaccine so tomorrow might not be a productive day especially if the symptoms get worse.

If you wake up sweating in the middle of the night, that's somewhat expected. Hydrate frequently.
 
@DragonParadox, small detail I forgot to add:

Since the anti-teleportation wards of the Dauntless prevent Teleporting onto the hull directly, the idea is for Viserys and Balerion to carry everyone, Teleport near the cloaked Dauntless, then land on the hull.

Also, @Goldfish, how many scrolls of Mages Decree do we have?

Maybe just Miracle an illusionary construct with audio that sounds perfectly conversational volume throughout the city?

None in the stockpile, but I haven't finalized this month's scroll scribing for Lya yet. With the invasion in mind, considering the lead up to it and planning involved, she could have produced quite a few of them this month via her Quill of Scribing. Up to a maximum of 30, though that would temporarily reduce the other varieties I regularly have her stockpiling.

How many do you need?

Alternatively, a combination of Clarion Call and Amplify, both 1st level spells Viserys can use, should serve as a very effective means of boosting the volume of his voice. Especially if he speaks in Dragon form. Can't really beat the Mage's Decree effect for range or pervasiveness, though.

I honestly do not see how "giant Viserys in the sky who can project his voice throughout the city without sounding like he's shouting" isn't within the purview of Miracle, considering that is mostly stagecraft writ large.

Should be quite possible, considering that a simple 3rd level Major Image spell used at 20th caster level can create an illusion with a volume of 21,000 cubic feat.

I just haven't gotten around to that yet.

You must all understand that I have unlimited power and control derived from eldritch knowledge beyond mortal ken. If I must play God with spreadsheets, then discord will be sewn.

I'll get back to you when I know the length of the speech. We'll also need some 1st level scrolls of Amplify and Clarion Call, but those only need to boost someone's voice enough to reach a keep.


And I think blowing a Miracle in showboating is necessary here. Need to respect the brand.

Ok. Honest question. How many spontaneous divine casters do we want to make in Kings Landing?

Because I've got some rather... unique inspiration right now. Might be all the megalomania I swallowed earlier acting up.
