That's not a picture of Rhaella. That's a picture of Rhaenyra Targaryen, from when she was the "Delight of the Realm".

That said, Rhaenyra is our direct ancestor, so it could be argued that Rhaella looks like her.
I'll keep this one for now, since DP gave the go ahead. All of the decent pictures I can find for Rhaella make her look sad or sick, which might be appropriate a decade ago, but her circumstances are drastically different now and she's quite happy.

She might look a little young, but True Resurrection and regular powerful healing magic is probably great for keeping a youthful appearance.

Like I said, Rhaenyra is our direct ancestor. Rhaella's too. There's no reason she or even Dany when she grows up couldn't look like her.

And yeah, good call on shying away from the pics of Rhaella being roughed up.

[X] Seek to rediscover Wu Jen magic from first principles
-[X] Conduct experiments to discover how the Shugenja's powers work
-[X] As part of the experimentation, ask the Suijin in the Aquatic District to bless those it deems worthy with the gift of the Shugenja (both Tritons and non-Tritons) and observe how they come into their power

We've got everything we need here. We have four minor Shugenja who we can observe, and we have a moderately powerful Kami who's actively looking for followers. Yi Ti is looking into how to bind Valyrian Dragons, this is fair game.

This should include Draconic from her connection to the Dragon Dream. Also, she should probably have [Poor] in a number of languages, considering she's the type to throw herself into things like that to be more useful at what we've been asking her to do, which is generally represent the Crown when we cannot in places outside Court.

Oh, right!

@DragonParadox, what's Viserys' progress on learning the following?
Languages Spoken: Westerosi Common, High Valyrian, Low Valyrian (Braavosi, Volantine, Stepstones, Tyroshi), Draconic, Ignan, Old Tongue (First Men), Terran, Dothraki [Poor], Sarnori [Poor], Naathi [Poor)], and Yi Tish [Poor)]
We should have also picked up the Lyseni, Myrrish, and Pentosi dialects of Low Valyrian by now, too.

The native Polygot ability of Viserys to speak and write different tongues which doesn't require any item of Comprehend Language makes the inner Polygot in me to squeal in happiness.

  1. You should have Lyseni, Myrrish, and Pentosi Low Valyrian yeah
  2. Sarnori and Yi Tish are no longer poor (though with Yi Tish you have also learned it is but one dialect out of six major ones spoken).
Excellent. So we're looking at:

Languages Spoken: Westerosi Common, High Valyrian, Low Valyrian (Braavosi, Lorathi, Lyseni, Myrrish, Pentoshi, Volantene, Tyroshi), Ignan, Old Tongue (First Men), Terran, Dothraki [Poor], Sarnori [Average], Naathi [Poor)], and Yi Tish [Average)]

Should Naathi and Dothraki be learned yet? We've had considerably longer with the two.

Knowing the languages in truth is great. :) it leads to scenes like understanding if a diplomat is subtly insulting you in your own throne room.

Just added Draconic and Low Valyrian (Braavosi). Can add more later if DP gives the go ahead. She might not have focussed heavily on languages, since she's had so much else to learn. She also has a PoSK of Tongues that lets her cast it as a 2nd level spell

Speaking of skills, I noticed we had given her the Melodic Casting feat when we first did her character build, which replaces the Concentration skill with Perform checks. At some point, however, we had our points into Concentration for her anyway. That freed up 14 points that mostly ended up spread between Knowledge (Religion) and Knowledge (The Planes).

I'll add those after work. Skynet can handle edits to Rhaella's sheet, but Viserys' might make it explode.

@Goldfish

That pic of Rhaella is extremely MILF-ish. . .

I kind of want one of the Companions to be all like, "Dude your mom is hot!"

Just to see the reaction. . .
I doubt any of the Companions would say that, even Maelor (though his Wisdom isn't very high, so it's possible...), but Bronn might.

Can you PM me the updated list of languages as a reminder?

He has had less of a chance to use them so they were lower on the priority to learn.
Duly noted.

@Goldfish, when you get around to it, here's what Viserys should be sporting:

Languages Spoken: Westerosi Common, High Valyrian, Low Valyrian (Braavosi, Lorathi, Lyseni, Myrrish, Pentoshi, Volantene, Tyroshi), Ignan, Old Tongue (First Men), Terran, Dothraki [Poor], Sarnori [Average], Naathi [Poor)], and Yi Tish [Average)]

Next we should probably get Aquan and Sylvan, and maybe Celestial and Infernal.

Was about to write up a vote, but just noticed you edited this one in. Maybe change the language a bit, to instead ask the Suijin to bless the Tritons? Bidding it to do so seems a little too demanding, IMO.

Will do.

Done, changed it to asking.

So, as I understand it...

1. Void shows up
2. The Great Empire of the Dawn is founded, with a heavy influx of disillusioned Steel Angels, and becomes a strong ally of Heaven
3. The Great Empire of the Dawn (potentially) makes great anchors for the Emperor's might and authority (the Four Corners) which were placed at the edges of their realm
4. The Great Empire of the Dawn soul-forges the Kami, native outsiders loyal to the Emperor who holds sway over the Four Corners
5. Heaven falls
6. The First Men migrate to Westeros and come into conflict with the native Fey and the Children of the Forest
7. Angry Winter Fey grow bitter and hard, and turn to the Void
8. At some point the Kinstrife (presumably using the Orbs of Dragonkind) wipes most Dragons off the map, with the sole exception being the Red Dragons who knew rage so intimately they knew that this particular rage was an interloper
9. White Dragons specifically (most of them) turn to seek refuge with the Winter Court and become Void-Touched Frost Dragons
10. The Black Stone falls to the earth, and the Bloodstone Emperor commits the Blood Betrayal and usurps his sister the Amethyst Empress, and thus the Long Night begins
11. The Bloodstone Emperor is about to march the armies of the Void to conquer all of Prime Material and usher in the End Times, but the Red Dragon Flight attacks all at once and burns everything down
12. Long Night ends
13. The Golden Empire of Yi Ti arises as a successor state to the Great Empire of the Dawn, its Emperors taking command of the Kami through ownership of at least one of the Four Corners
14. The Red Dragons form proto-Valyria, unusually social and cooperative as a long lasting result of their collaboration against the Void
15. The Red Dragons fall to the Half-Dragon rebels who would eventually become the Valyrians
