I dislike that thought process once we have managed to recover Karak Vlag
Karak Vlag was: a mystery and a curiosity on the way, and; a Dwarf Hold rather than an enemy trade center. We visited it without large expectation of reward, because we knew it was going to be a place where a Hold mysteriously disappeared. We also mostly did not expect to have this whole...
thing... happen.
Uzkulak is a huge trade center. You go there to trade or steal or spy. There are concrete and obvious reasons to visit. Which means there are concrete and obvious temptations you might want to go there, for stuff.
Or for another perspective and way to approach it...
When it came to the conversation and discussion of pre-Karak Vlag, and the arguments or posts thrown around... I don't think many looked at Karak Vlag and said "Guys, there's tons of loot and shinies in there. Imagine all the stuff we can
get if we go there!" Because it was completely uncertain and unknown if we'd be able to do
anything with it. Sure, our curiosity led us there, and a hope that maybe our Witch-sight would let us see something that Dwarfs missed. But there wasn't a market there.
It's about the arguments that are used in favor of Uzkulak. (Some of which are reasonable or good, don't get me wrong! Or a desire to spy on the enemy and get insight into their camp or have advance warning on if they want to screw us over or whatever. Just... there are also arguments that advance the "Guys, think of the profit or possibilities or shinies!" path, too.)
