With our bonus being +27, we would need to roll only 33 or higher. So the possibility of reaching 4 Successes is probably better than another bonus, especially because every extra Success means 1 extra Material income every turn.
So at max, we could get 5 Materials every turn.

The only action we have that could affect the Butcher is "Retrace The Steps, Part 3, [Insert Witty Title]!", and that will only give a +10 on the attempt to shut it down. If the dice roll is going to be a d100 it's not going to matter much...

@HeroCooky Is it going to be one D100? And could we use omake rewards on that dice roll?

We don't have enough know-how to do anything else and not enough Materials to buy another Harpoon.

So how much do we need to fully stop the flood
The Flood is already down to a +100 bonus from 300. The Knights and Soldiers vastly reduce the bonus when they win, and somewhat when they lose.

The third strategy the Enperor is using is trying to kill the Council, cutting the head of the snake and all. Hasn't worked so far.

So maybe, ~2/3 rounds?

@EyeOfSauron I switched Fashion Revival for Translations For Beginners in Plan Heart Attack after HeroCooky clarified how Artefacts and Successes interact with Fashion Revival.

So you might want to update your vote. That or I'm going to rename the updated plan.

Anyway, I really want to do the wedding while everyone is still distracted by the Butcher. This way only people that are focused on the Mutated will care about it, meaning the Mutated and the Church of Eden. And while the Church can cause trouble anyway, everyone else should be too busy focusing on the Butcher to react much.

And I don't think it matters too much if we have a few militia units, a veteran scout unit, or a functioning Knight. If there is open violence the Military will come down on both sides like a ton of bricks anyway. I would just like to do the wedding while everyone is still distracted by the Butcher.

The explicitly worst reaction we can get from marrying Selene is that the Church of Eden tries to cause a Purge, which should be more difficult if everyone worries about the Butcher literally looming over them and the Military is gathering their forces in preparation for a fight.

If we do the wedding without a super threat like the Butcher around, it will be politicized and everyone will try to use it for their advantage. Of course, we could simply not marry Selene but that will cause it's own problems if there is a kid.

yeah i know,but we should fuck them over when we can win

that means

1) gain allies across elites and other religious organizations

2) develop our militar doctrine

3) improve tech

4) gain the emperor favor

then we can declare them evil,but if we declare them evil now we will outgunned,outnumbered,with no allies etc,no soldiers etc

play the long game even if it means allowing pain and segregation to conitnue for a few decades
