Too many enemies too little time. Honestly, I'm half expecting Qohor and Norvos attacking us while we are busy with either Slaver's Bay or the Western Provinces in a misguided attempt to avoid invasion.
Hence me pushing to invade them next month with full force. Take them of the board before they exploit our distraction.

If they attacked us without warning, we would definitely see them march into Sarnath and the Rhoyne basin before we could repell them.
It's honestly hilarious that Qohor and Norvos are forced into a pseudo alliance of convenience, considering Norvos correctly believes Qohor worships an abomination.

Waiting until the end of the 4th month is already pushing it with Westeros. Hoster Tully might start a civil war any day now by attacking those in the Riverlands who are supporting us. Bloodraven can't stop him forever.

And Slavers Bay will be a quagmire that will bind forces for many months. Too many of them to not jeopardise Westeros.

Then move up the date on Westros, Tully is the only one we want to take alive and healthy if only to keep from having to fight the north as well. The lions and the fat man we can go as ruthlessly as needed. Though I do want to to take Bob alive just so we can offer him to take the Black. He won't of course but it'll earn us good will in the end.

Can they attack us without warning? What are our intelligence assets out there like?

I mean I suppose Shuby could spew an army of abominations out whenever and wherever they feel like. But they can literally do that anywhere at any time with no warning.

It's not that weird honestly, there is historical precedent of those two uniting to thwart Volantis ambitions in the Rhyone. The wonders of geopolitics have produced it's fair share of unlikely alliances among the multiverse.

It's less an alliance and more the understanding that if one falls, the other will inevitably follow next.

Have you read Divided Loyalties?
Because the Skaven-Logic that three parties at each others throats is an enforced peace is at work here.
Of course only until we show that we can take both at once.

If the Court of Stars will miraculously implode next month, that would be an option. Maybe. Don't bet on it.

Also, I don't care about Hoster Tully at all and Ned Stark knows what happens if he actually tries to fight us. We told him. If he wants to live through this, he'll keep his ass firmly glued to a comfy chair in Winterfell.

What do we need from the court of stars?

They've been entirely too amenable to negotiation to wipe out, and are spread around too much to really get them all.

So what's the diplomatic victory there? Usual vassalage oaths? They still consider their king to be king, and hes napping so we cant diplo him for shit.

Flipping every sub court however will take. Soooooo long.

Let's table this discussion for the turn vote at the earliest and focus on this vote.

What do we want out of this? If it's mostly infernal lore, drawing away defenders from their production grounds seems the best takeaway from this.

If we want to bleed away cohesion of the devils,
[] Attack the known location dedicated to Baators and used by its agents
this seems the best option to take. This also seems to be the one that will kill more infernal mages.

From my point of view, attacking its mortal agents
[] Strike at their mortal pawns in the guise of a more mundane attack and wait for a reaction
might be the way to go to kill the negotiators with a vested interest in the contracts who have yet to recoup their investment.

Doing the third one,

[] Strike at the Unsulled to help pull defenses away from the enemy's 'forge'
will basically just be doubling down on our present team's action, making their job easier or potentially yield more rewards if there are fewer people to cover their asses/burn stuff or bundle away things they don't want found.

[X] Strike at the Unsullied to help pull defenses away from the enemy's 'forge'. Do this in the guise of vengeful Sons of the Harpy.
-[X] Once attention is distracted, attack the known location dedicated to Baator and used by its agents. Seek to capture or kill as many agents as possible, as well as dismantle important infrastructure as quickly as can be done.

This one doesn't work, since that one Deimavigga learned that his double-bluff got found out.

Coordinating this one with the Sons of the Harpy (tacitly allowing them to 'claim credit') might actually be better.

The diplomanceable Fey were unaligned. With the CoS through, all signs point go open war, as we fight back against their contamination of the Reach.

Also, the last time we talked, CoS envoys kept insulting us. Their queen won't kneel unless we make her and she is too powerful to make that viable. So dead it is.

I remember us having some success speaking with the Fey bit players.

Asode from that one colossal douche envoy I dont know if we have made diplomatic overtures to any of the sub factions.

Yes. I imagine the Queen would be quite unhappy with us holding her husbands brain hostage.

Fingers crossed that we get to fight that Pit Fiend.

I really, really want that Pit Fiend.
And I want some Sacrificial Goat-grade shenanigans with the exact Cornugon that Richard eviscerated for his Gogossi Mythic Rank getting summoned... and getting slapped right back into death.
:V

The shopping list clearly says "Deimavigga voice box" at the top, so please let's check that one first. We have to keep some order after all, or are we Demons?

Actually, turns out Valaena's Sentient Valyrian Steel Spiked Chain (which she's probably named by now) soul-killed its former master thanks to their shared history.

We need a new sacrificial goat.

Absolutely. We are definitely capturing that Deimavigga.

Speaking of demons. What are Rhango and company getting up to at the moment?

They arent in Sarnor. Maybe we could have them stomp on one of the problematic cities a few times?
