@Crake, rather than Boneshatter for Ceria, what about something like Fickle Winds as a really good thematic party buff or Geniekind as a super versatile self buff for her? Ceria doesn't lack for decent attack options, especially if she learns Boneshaker which is almost as good as Boneshatter in most situations and only needs a 2nd level spell slot. DP ruled a while back that Geniekind lasts one minute per level rather than one round, so it's got enough staying power to get her through a whole encounter with plenty of wiggle room.

BTW, now that she's gaining access to 5th level spells, she can retrain her Expanded Arcana feat to an upgraded Expanded Arcana, one which allows her to learn two 4th level spells, or she could forget Dimensional Anchor and learn another 5th level spell. Now that she's gaining access to Assay Spell Resistance, retraining Spell Penetration to a different feat wouldn't be a bad idea, either. With her Divine Metamagic, she could make good use of Chain Spell or even Persistent Spell. Ceria seems like the type to appreciate the benefits of a Persistent Divine Power spell.

If you have her learn an extra 4th level spell, we've recently seen how well Celestial Brilliance can work against the Undead and it's even better against Evil Outsiders, Sound Lance is a great offensive spell if you want to replace Boneshatter with something, and Recitation is probably one of the better large-scale buffs she could learn.

Well this is going pretty well overall. I think this is our biggest single land grab to date, and we're doing it in a such a way that the (sane) locals will actually be grateful for our presence long term.

Since there are at least 7 other Sarnori cities within Silver Sea be neat to see what treasures people dig up while resettling the land.

Would love to expand road network from Qohor to all the cities set up.

Go ahead and include any of those changes you think is best. Sound Lance she will eventually grab even if she doesn't so immediately, along with many other Energy damaging spells, to make use of the PRC I wrote for her's class feature which lets her learn energy variant versions of them. Still useful as it is now.

Any combination thereof works for me, Chain Spell would be a good pickup though.

Here's what I ended up with once I started tinkering:

[] Ceria Level-up
-[] Class: +1 Sacred Exorcist
-[] Feats: Retrain Expanded Arcana (Dimensional Anchor) >>> Versatile Spellcaster, Spell Penetration >>> Chain Spell
-[] Skills: +1 Dipomacy, +1 Concentration, +1 Heal, +1 Knowledge (Arcana), +1 Knowledge (Religion), +1 Sense Motive, +1 Spellcraft
-[] Spells:
--[] 0th Level Spells: Enhanced Diplomacy
--[] 2nd Level Spells: Boneshaker
--[] 3rd Level Spells: Hydrophobia
--[] 4th Level Spells: Assay Spell Resistance
---[] Retrained: Dismissal >>>
Dimensional Anchor
--[] 5th Level Spells: Geniekind, Plane Shift, Righteous Might

Swapped out Expanded Arcana for Versatile Spellcaster to give her the ability to cast more higher level spells, but kept Dimensional Anchor by retraining Dismissal. Losing Dismissal might hurt, but Reached Plane Shift is generally a better if shorter-ranged alternative that's harder to resist. Once Tyene gets around to developing the superior Pathfinder version of the feat, hopefully she'll be able to give lessons to our other people who use the feat, which would be a huge boon to Ceria.

Let me know if there is anything you want changed.

That's all fine.

More busy internally debating which fanfare we should use for the award ceremony back home. John Williams, perhaps? Can't compete with the classics.

Let's see, Lya taking on the role of Mon Mothma, and perhaps Argo has Chewbacca, with Tyene as Princess Leia and Waymar as Luke Skywalker.

... 😬

Anu could be C3-PO, but that would be a terrible insult to Anu.

I'm on a Manowar kick lately, so I'm hoping an extraplanar Bard troupe will Plane Shift in for the festivities and play something in commemoration of the Legion's battles in Sarnor.

Here our soldiers stand from all around the world
Waiting in a line to hear the battle cry
All are gathered here, victory is near
The sound will fill the hall, bringing power to us all
We alone are fighting for metal that is true
We own the right to live the fight, we're here for all of you
Now swear the blood upon your steel will never dry
Stand and fight together beneath the battle sky
[Chorus:] Brothers everywhere - raise your hands into the air We're warriors, warriors of the world
Like thunder from the sky - sworn to fight and die
We're warriors, warriors of the world
Many stand against us, but they will never win
We said we would return and here we are again
To bring them all destruction, suffering and pain
We are the hammer of the gods, we are thunder, wind and rain.
There they wait in fear with swords in feeble hands
With dreams to be a king, first one should be a man I call about and charge them all with a life that is a lie
And in their final hour they shall confess before they die
[Repeat chorus]
If I should fall in battle, my brothers who fight by my side
Gather my horse and weapons, tell my family how I died
Until then I will be strong, I will fight for all that is real
All who stand in my way will die by steel
Brothers everywhere - raise your hands into the air
We're warriors, warriors of the world

@DragonParadox, what are the numbers? How many people we have to turn into Warforged in this city to keep our end of the deal?

Okay, given that Yrael is supposed to transform into something new, I would suggest starting from a Trumpet Archon, scaling it down by 1 or 2 HD to fit his current level and then change a few details to Imperial aesthetics over archon-like ones.

This works optimally for his Cleric-casting, as it makes him effectivly a full Cleric without the need for the template, it leaves some space for him to keep his Second Skin ability (no armor-penalties) instead of the Trumpet-ability and as magic weapons he can get something in Valyrian Steel to go with his grey wings, while keeping the total power of the weapon similar to the Trumpet's +4 Greatsword.

@Goldfish @DragonParadox
Do you think the concept is solid?
I see no reason to re-invent the wheel here, as even an imperial-aligned Archon is still mostly what he was.
We do not have the metaphysical backing yet to make completly new and independant outsiders, to change an Archon as much as Hell changed the Fallen, so I would much prefer to keep it to minor alterations.

That looks good yea, he is still fundamentally an archon, but the herald like ability of the trumpet archon would not fit him as well as the armor ability does.

On the day of its fall Mardosh was a city of 160.000 citizens, 21.000 of which were in the military. Not everyone transitioned into sentient unlife leading to a total count of 108,000 civilians and 15.500 soldiers.
@Goldfish, I remember something about hundreds of thousands Warforged we could put out per month, potentially?
Can we cover both of the kingdoms in one-two months now?

We can produce 9,000 a month with one facility. I'm not sure if that's a limitation on the workspace, or a limitation on the handwaved/backgrounded workmen. I imagine not the latter, since we can cheat with magic in a lot of steps and it's hard to justify scarcity of experts when we are attracting and training up arbitrary amounts of them (also cheating there with magic).

If we built another Warforged Foundry, we might be able to cover Mardosh, Sathar, Kasath and Sallosh's + stragglers from Gornath within a couple of years.

We'd have to make like two more to get it done this year.

Speaking of, @DragonParadox, what happened with those dead scholars in Sallosh? They still kicking around or did they totally slip your mind? They want new bodies, too?

If we managed to get the scholars of Sallosh as Warforged vassals, that's a whole lot of magical craftsmen for @Goldfish to play with.

@DragonParadox
Different question, do we have any sources of Starmetal outside of the recently aquired equipment?
I suspect we can't just buy it from Earth, as it must come from space by definition, but there have propably been a few meteors on Planetos over time?
