15% of failure is a super high chance of failure when we are talking about a minuscule upside for getting into 85% and serious problems in case of 15% failure.
It is like If you bet your life for $1 than having 1 in 10000 chance of failing is a super high chance of failure.
OK, Jinx 3.0 may is better than the disaster of Jinx 2.0 but is an insult of Carol's talents using her this way.
Seriously, why don't go for Jinx without version number where Cassandra is with Katherine in safety of LexTower?

Carol's talents are in planes, anything else is a waste so why not let her play with the Cassandra and teach her some sense

If we can get enough people to support I feel this is a good compromise between the two leading plans.
Carol's talent in being a pilot and being a businessperson. We don't have jobs for a pilot, we have jobs for a businessperson
Looking for competent assistants, media company, even servers, and supercomputer fit her far better. And there is also a somewhat risky but completely viable option of having Carol teaching Cassandra how to fly aircrafts.
Also, I actually see very little value in getting a pet for Cassandra. Literally every other Cassandra option looks better. Including all stewardship ones.

@King crimson: Can't we just use the Plant Integration serum on an animal and train it, so Cass gets a super-pet instead of a normal one?

How about if we do not assign Cassandra to anything this turn let her relax. Have Carol look into personal assistant and Rebecca and Roxanne recruit Jinx? That way we have heroes on both of the higher DC recruit actions and next turn we can take options with the plan of taking a Cassandra action.
As it is not trying to buff the jinx recruitment feels like a mistake as she would be our 2nd magic hero unit and one that can go into probability manipulation. And if rebecca and jinx hit it off then a good cooperation skill would make them great to assign on magic learning which at the same time would increase what they can do.

No, it is the difference between getting a pet an not getting one. Failure wont kill anyone, Cassandra just wont have a pet. She has a much better chance at getting a pet than Ivo does at competing the AMAZO project, and people are perfectly willing to let him work at it alone.

Yes but you need to get an animal first and test it first (most of the plant-monkeys died). Getting a regular pet allows you to more easily upgrade it into a superpet.
Note that Rebecca on Plant-human integration is very useful, too. Not only because of +10 to roll that will improve Pamela forever but also because she can spot Green's involvement in all of this and open more options for a subvote. And crits on that action can be extremely sweet.
Jinx is just a hero recruitment action, one of many we did and will do. Upgrading Pamela is something that will matter forever with her being our closest ally after Mercy.

See no particular reason we specifically have to do "Get Cass a Pet" to... get an animal to experiment on and train as a potential pet. There's plenty of reasons for us to acquire animals, after all.
Hmm... Would "Build an Animal Shelter" lower the DC for "Get Cass a Pet"? Seems a lot easier to straight-up adopt one from LexCo's Animal Shelter.

Noted that Plan Jinx that gote votes isn't exactly what I proposed as a way to recruit Jinx. That one has some very weird decisions...
Here is a plan that has a recruit Jinx action and that I consider a viable compromise with what I want:

And what are awful consequences of their Coop score going down from their already low score?
I can name many things that can go very wrong with Cassandra buying a pet for herself - encountering her old father, being kidnapped\killed by intergang, getting attention of the media, etc.
Seriously, I understand wanting Jinx, but there are sensible ways to do this, Jinx 2.0 is a madness. It is absolutely irresponsible. I am actually starting to think that you all are trolling because it should be obvious how awful the idea of sending Cassandra alone in Metropolis is.
BTW isn't Plan Jinx number X the same as Plan Green Magic Woman and A Pink One Too ?
