[x] Plan Re-Evaluate the Course Mk 2
-[x] Throughout your reign, and even beforehand, you have chosen many rigorous, often thankless tasks, stomped on lives like ants just in the course of an average day of rulership and statesmanship. And you stand by it. Still, if there's something you despise, it's needless cruelty and senseless waste. You won't become driven, out of all things, by ignorant fear. You were never one to close your eyes to harsh truths, even if their light stings.
-[x] "Lucan has brought back one of my ancestors in the form of a creature designed with the sole purpose of slaying me, capable of dealing unhealable wounds and unbreakable curses. Roland, one of his attendant angels, could not say the man would be even willing to meet with me under a parley, just to talk. Still, I can see the sincerity in your eyes, the fear and the pain, and, above all, the faith that drives you. I respect that you've come here, and are willing to die to speak your mind. You seem like a good woman, Danelle, so I am willing to have a little bit of faith myself." *Release the hostages*
-[x] "Once you have confirmed their safety, I want to speak with you and Brother Lucan. Today. It seems it's past time that cards were laid on the table. You have my word you will leave unmolested, if you don't break the peace first." During the evening, Danelle and Lucan will meet with Viserys and Dany.
-[x] There's no point in laying out a list of demands or motivations or goals. Hear out both of their concerns and their motives. If they care even a little about you hearing them out, they will share what they think is necessary, and you will tacitly ensure they know they can ask for clarification from you if it is required for them to share more. This time calls for clear communication, no more and no less.

@Crake what about this?

I wonder if we could eventually get a compromise from the Seven, like a day of the year where everyody goes to a weirwood and cuts the palm of his hand and bleeds for those who bled during the Andal conquest.

I'm gonna go with probably not. The Seven seem like a very "I did nothing wrong" type of deity (which to be fair is practically all of them.)

This is no news

People support a plan that they don't like if they think it's reasonable, it is not the first time that happens here and the other plan is either dig in in a shouting match with Danelle or kill the hot nun and burn down the church.

So...
I think it's less pragmatism and more "She hasn't pissed us off to the point where mass murder and fighting against a holy crusade is on the table."

I mean she might, the day is young.

Nah man I appreciate the sentiment (assuming it was well meant) I just am tired of being pushed into being LG stupid by Azel and Dp and yet it looks like that's exactly whats going to happen, maybe next we can try negotiating with Tiamat and Mammon, wouldn't want to risk doing something bad now would we?
Boy is this accusation bizarre to hear.

I'm just genuinely at a loss how to deal with the fact that a lot of people are bandwagoning a plan they do not really support.
You are confused by the idea of a compromise?
More seriously I don't think there are that many people doing so. It might just be taking them time to come up with alternatives.

A source of worship. Sacrifice willingly given once a day. Potent, powerful...could be a good apology. Although I was personally more for the each champion finds and sacrifices a powerful monster as a good downpayment. A constant tribute however would soothe the hurts.

Nah, well just have Danelle throw herself into a heart tree and raise her as a greenseer or martyr or something.

It's been a weird day for everyone, especially those poor fucks who got shoved in a bottle.

Whole day is probably fucked up from that point. Can't really run an errand with "I got brutalized by an eight year old and a giant eyeball and the eight year old was scarier" going on in the back of your head.

I mean we have both negotiated with and stabbed both entities. Although with Tiamat it was a more metaphorical stabbing while with Mammon the stabbing was more...literal.

Then we get a compromise from the clergy. You know, so that the gods of nature that they already failed to kill in the past and have killed 9 of their chosen stop having a hateboner for them.

You're asking a priest to say that his gods were in the wrong. Even from a pragmatic "this will stop the killings" standpoint most of them won't go for it.

Annoyingly the higher up in the faith you go the more you tend to run into people willing to become martyrs for the cause.

It's irritating is what it is. Tensions are high enough without people trying to start a flame war. Which I don't think is happening actually.
Despite tensions being full on high, we don't seem to be in full "thread riot" mode.

Not yet. You need to give these things time. Let them fester. Let the hate grow. A river dries with rain and anger needs a source.

[x] Abstain

I am too tired to think and if I make decisions while tired I am a wake up to something dumb.
