That's not really accurate at all. Azel didn't leave, but became a co-QM and Snowfire is still here.

DP is by far one the best QMs I've ever seen.
Man you are right, Azel's constant smug jackassery...
*Edit:Fucking nija'ed by the man himself proving my point lol
I'm genuinely stumped by the amount of people who are name-voting @Crake yet express massive disdain for his plan.

...is clearly a sign of how invested he is in the game and well snowfire...

Emotionally drained and exhausted at the very idea of continuing on much further. But sure, you could call that still here.

I'm still seriously debating just removing myself from the thread but for HT updates. And once that's done, well.

That just speaks for itself don't it.

Dp may have been good but his constant need to moralize everything and a refusal to try and fix the mistakes even he says he made for some inane reason for the past months seems to have driven away/drained (snowfire) or turned hostile (Azel) our most prolific vote makers. All that aside from the updates themselves not being good (in my opinion).

I thought I was negative. Do you want a hug?

I'm not sure what point you are trying to make.

I'm just genuinely at a loss how to deal with the fact that a lot of people are bandwagoning a plan they do not really support.

I'm baffled by it as well, though to be fair people seem trained to vote for whoever says something half-way reasonable sounding, so I am unsure if their rationale for doing so is actually anything like implicit trust despite the fact that those who have dropped a namevote do so while voicing their displeasure.

For me it always a desire to move on.

Also its just easier to ride the wave than fight it.

Real talk? I did because you won me over.

I just want answers. No politics, no shouting matches, no subterfuge. Just pure unvarnished answers.

I want them aware what's at stake and I want to know what their beef with us is/was/may be.

I just want to know where we stand and where to go from here because the minute I see a clear heading for the horizon where humanity manages to survive I'm gunning for that sucker with all speed.

I dislike the plan but it's the best of a set of bad alternatives, and objectively it is good, I just dislike that we're in a situation where this is a good plan because we've been squeezed into a stupid moral binary.

I'll be salty about this situation until it is all explained to a satisfactory degree, which probably means forever since I don't find 'we retconned x' to be very satisfactory.

Nah man I appreciate the sentiment (assuming it was well meant) I just am tired of being pushed into being LG stupid by Azel and Dp and yet it looks like that's exactly whats going to happen, maybe next we can try negotiating with Tiamat and Mammon, wouldn't want to risk doing something bad now would we?

We of this thread have a habit of bitching about the necessity of pragmatism, but still voting for pragmatism.
I wouldn't call what we are doing here "pragmatism", though.
If we are following through with Azel's comparison, we are very much still trying to "get the Pokemon".

Please dial back the attitude. If it bothers you that badly, feel free to step away from the quest and do something else rather than add further negativity.

Well, the only real alternative that is not a "protest vote"--and dear god that entire concept posses me off. Just don't vote if you kbow. It won't work--is goldfish, and he already changed his mind to throw his weight behind crake. For myself, it's not entirely unsavory, just feels like we're staving off the actual conversation till later.

What we're trying to do is not set the continent on fire. Because those are our options right now, we either talk this people around or gain ourselves a ton of enemies forever. Killing them will achieve nothing since they're replaceable, and will also ruin a bunch of things.

I wonder if we could eventually get a compromise from the Seven, like a day of the year where everyody goes to a weirwood and cuts the palm of his hand and bleeds for those who bled during the Andal conquest.

This is no news

People support a plan that they don't like if they think it's reasonable, it is not the first time that happens here and the other plan is either dig in in a shouting match with Danelle or kill the hot nun and burn down the church.

So...
