The Denarians on their own? Certainly not so simply. But consider what Power was responsible for Passover.

Protip; it wasn't the Fallen

The Angel of Death yes, but the Queen of Air and Darkness is as powerful an angel and Mother Winter stronger still. Both have a legitimate claim on the Lady's soul and life and thus can leverage that strength. Breaking a single strand of the curse should not be beyond them I think.

... Did Waymar just punk Sigmar?
As more misshapen things wielding jagged blades, their faces veiled by writhing tentacles, emerged from the barrow Waymar looked upon them with scorn, almost with amusement. "You have been spending too much time in the dark. If you had come out some time in the past month you might have noticed we are the winged figures held without fear in the hands of children, the world is changing, not just becoming more of what it was."
Isn't this supposed to be Leto speaking? "We are the winged figures" and all that?

@DragonParadox what templates do we have unlocked in the fungus forge? I only remember a couple. I know we have the King-Killer, Druid creature shadow and advanced creatures but was there anything else?
Unlocked:
Advanced
Druid Creature
Plant Creature (for obvious reasons)

Needs a bit of research:
Draconic
Kingkiller

Needs to have requisite sacrifice tossed to the Fungus Forge, but after that it's automatic:
Cleric Creature
Sorcerer Creature
Wizard Creature

Vote closed... now I need to figure out how to make telepathic communion interesting.

I thought we had already unlocked Kingkiller. Or was that as a research option? As for templates not much then. Makes sense. Vee has been busy with other projects.

Hey everyone, thanks for keeping your depressing spoilers in spoiler tags.

@Snowfire, @TotallyNotEvil : I haven't watched the season yet, but here's my theory regarding your hot takes on how shitty it all is:
The producers aren't ruining GRRM's work. GRRM actually plotted out all that and is trying to get it published in Winds of Winter, but his publishers are fighting him tooth and nail and begging him to rewrite it :V

So! Sharra Rogare has recovered Truth, and now Andar Royce has recovered Lamentation.

Acquiring lost swords is truly a great sibling bonding exercise.

My best bet is that the show and the book have the same plot points, but that the pacing and contextualization of those plot points in the book will make those scenes far saner (assuming they're ever released.)

Anyway finals are still happening so I haven't participated much but this is just a reminder not to convince everyone in the conclave to be on our side, as that defeats the purpose of intervening, I think.

The Angel of Death yes, but the Queen of Air and Darkness is as powerful an angel and Mother Winter stronger still. Both have a legitimate claim on the Lady's soul and life and thus can leverage that strength. Breaking a single strand of the curse should not be beyond them I think.

The Winter Lady? Yes, she'd be fine. Winter would protect its own.

Molly Carpenter, though?

For the if Viserys died and had a kid I think Dany and Rhaella would support the kid as the future ruler and help them learn to rule. Just find it very unlikely that Dany or Rhaella to just take Viserys kid right to rule. Become regent yeah but to actually take it? Just don't see it.

That's probably what'll happen. Daenerys explicitly doesn't want to rule, but she'd probably step up as regent for Viserys' future heir until they're old enough.

In the meantime Waymar is securing his family's support for the due legal process in the unlikely event that it's necessary.

I'll update it later today once I have time to dig through the quest. Once again, thanks @egoo for taking over for me while I was gone.
No problem, mate. I'm glad you seem to have a bit more free time now.

Maybe I'm mistaken but it sounded like to me that Waymar was pushing for Dany or Rhaella to rule in everything if Viserys died and had a kid who would be the rightful heir. Andar even mentioned if Viserys had an heir and Waymar just said they would be a bad ruler. I could be wrong but that's what it sounded like to me. Worried because skipping over the rightful heir sets a bad pretense.

I think the argumentation was that against aught else, rather than support a child who could end up being manipulated by outside forces, support Dany who will in turn support the child. Waymar is discussing this from not a pragmatic point of view but instead from a perspective which places implicit trust in Dany and Rhaella, one of whom would overturn mountains to ensure her brother's legacy would live on in some fashion, and the other of whom believes strongly in duty.

Neither of which would seem likely or good vectors for manipulation to try to sway where succession would eventually lie. They would keep basically everything the same, they wouldn't shuffle up court as most of the time happened when a Targ King died and let in the vipers and rats. It would still be mostly bureaucrats and champions, most of whom either owe their loyalty to Viserys first, and institutions second, rather than being willing to sell out to the first crown wearing man or woman with a charming smile.

Waymar was indeed pushing for that. That said, Dany and Rhaella would both categorically refuse to pass over Viserys' heir, and would instead rule as regents. So Waymar would end up just supporting them in that.

Waymar is a warrior, he's not going to trust leadership to someone who would end up leaning on advisers regardless against what seems to be shaping up to be a constant and ongoing war effort.

As @Duesal said, he's not trying to lay the seeds of civil war here, he's trying to say that you shouldn't tie your support to the wagon that anyone can steer, but instead to the one that has any hypothetical child's best interests at heart--whether they see it as that or not.

I assumed flipping the crown to Danny if we for real die was the plan, have we not made such known?
