Remember, Daenerys has Persistomancy and Pact spells active and this asshat isn't in full masterwork armor. Her AC and attack bonus should utterly outclass him. If she fought unarmed she would lose due to AoOs, but wielding an improvised weapon (like a chair) she should win every time.

She always has a weapon.
Feeder is in familar-space, waiting for his moment of glory once every few thousand pages.

Oberyn Vs Sandor it is, then.

Oberyn has better levels and gear, is also built for duels, AND he's a showoff with showy and effective magical gear (mirror image and teleports to mess up full attack positioning).
I expect Oberyn to win. Anyone taking bets?

[X] Plan The Virtue Of Being Useful - The Devil Provides Details Edition
-[X] "Above all else, I've always valued competence and ambition in all those I associate with. I will not divide up the land to hand it out to those who are the best at grovelling before me or the loudest at professing their undying loyalty, but to those who haven proven themselves worthy of such rewards and capable of fulfilling the duties that come with them, if that is what you fear." // If he doesn't believe this, he is cordially invited to speak with some Tyroshi magisters about the best way to get into Viserys good graces.
-[X] "I will see about raising those who prove themselves skilled administrators, ready to take on the challenges of the new age that dawns upon us. Loyal Westerosi where ever it is possible, though where no one with the right abilities and temperament can be found, I will also instate Essosi born lords, just as I award keeps in Essos to second sons." // Dispelling the notion of a foreign invasion. This is mingling. Nothing less and nothing more.
-[X] "There will be quite a few spots to fill. Too many traitor houses need to be lessened, nearly all the Lord Paramounts guilty to one degree or another. And this isn't even counting those lords that might fall in battle during the war." // Stating a few facts, though no particular plans right now. Also a mixture of a subtle threat and/or warning at the end. After what he saw in Westhaven, he should be painfully aware that a lot of nobles will die along their peasant levies if they oppose us.
-[X] If he asks for details:
--[X] "To make a long story short, the kingdoms will be split up and the former Lords Paramount lessened in accordance to their deeds. The peace and unity in the Reach will not outlive the Queen of Thorns who brokered it and I will not wait to see it devolve back into a mirror of the Riverlands. Next time Mace Tyrell decides to siege a castle and feast away a dull matter like a war instead of marching along the Targaryen banner, he will have a more appropriately sized force for that task."
--[X] "The Riverlands are a complete failure as a political entity, torn apart by feuds and war since time immemorial. The Tullys couldn't unite it, the Hoares couldn't, the Justmans, the Mudds, the Teagues... I'm sure there is a Maester in the Citadel who can expand that list by another few thousand years of failure. I will not waste my time on trying myself when I can just divide it along the lines of contention. Hoster Tully sold is loyalty for two marriages to the Baratheon regime, so his opinion on this is of no particular concern."
--[X] "And for the other traitors... The Stormlands will have to cede territory and the Vale will be divided to make room for settlers in the desolate northern half. Magic can turn those cracked mountains and barren hills into fertile lands. If Ned Stark bends the knee, he will retain some measure of power and influence, but the days where all the North answered to Winterfell will be over."
--[X] Wait until he asks about the Lannisters. "I'm not a man willing to slay babes in their cribs for their names alone, but I certainly will settle that particular score with Tywin Lannister. His house will be no more, those who bend the knee will have to cast it off and take a new one. Maybe House Reyne and House Tarbeck will have someone to carry their legacy after all. Casterly Rock will be given to the Legion as a base in the west and as for Lannisport..." Look to Theon. "I do like the ring of Greyport."
---[X] Clarification: Theon wanted a "harbor in the south", implying "to the south of the Iron Isles". Lannisport happens to fit the bill. Tell him that you are rather impressed by his development over the past years and with a few years and a competent regent, you are certain he will rise to this challenge too.

I don't think Oberyn is ahead in levels?

Besides, Sandor just needs to get lucky once with Dirty Tricks, a blinded Oberyn has almost no chance.

I'd say it depends a lot on luck, but my fake money goes on the ugly guy.

So... our last fights are then:

Heavy Weight Finale: Sandor Clegane vs. Oberyn Martell
Medium Weight Finale: Valaena Velaryon vs. Asha Greyjoy

I think the hype just gained a Mythic Tier.

@DragonParadox, could you roll the fights for place 3 today? Then the sheets of Skarbrand and Christon can be updated with whatever they have won.

I would rather do it in the morning. It's late enough that I'm afraid I might mess up the rolls somehow, particularly running relatively unfamiliar builds.
DragonParadox is the Second Legion called Chainbreakers after the battle for Lys? I thought they were called that but cant find it on the sheets on the first page. Did I get that wrong?
And can we link the Mythic Paths for Viserys and Lya (If Snowfire's finished it) to the character sheets threadmark like the custom prestige classes are?

Fair enough.

Two other things:
1. Will the Tyrosh and Naath Scholarium finish this turn? I think you've confirmed that, but I'm not sure.
2. How much progress would we need to study the Naathene butterflies, the sickness they cause and especially the peculiar immunity that the Naathene and Brindled Men have to it? Asking for a friends bio-weapon program.

"This fire that burned me, fire that took my kin. Gods gave it to me like King gave axe," Scarbrand answered, still confused. He would not take the moment to strike without warning but he did heal by the power in his magic belt. "Now my fire. If I ever meet squid man I use it on him."
See this Sandor? Learn from this!

Scarbrand was burned and lost kin just like you to a terrible being, but rather be consumed by it he found peace and purpose. He hasn't forgotten his anger or desire for revenge, but he also knows he can do more beyond it.

I also help literally killing a fire elemental will help your phobia a bit, turns out you can fight fire if you are skilled enough.

From scared child to squid stabbin' raptor bro-in' Lord of one of the most profitable cities in the realm. Not bad Theon.

  1. They will you rolled 10 and 4 respectively so enough for both
  2. I'd say 18, you have samples and Wylla's research on the matter but it's still a new field of study.

I assume this is intentional, and Randyll will probably take it as such. Trying Westeros and Essos together through more than just being under the banner of the Three-Headed Dragon. We should also start bringing up the idea of marriages to loyal Essosi families who've earned our regard in one way or another.
--[X] "To make a long story short, the kingdoms will be split up and the former Lords Paramount lessened in accordance to their deeds. I like this part, especially the Queen of Thornes bit. You might want to change 'siege a castle' to 'sitting out the war' or 'holding feasts,' as technically Mace was fulfilling his obligations and if we're calling him out for his bullshit we should be explicit in what he did wrong.

You could also mention rulers beyond the Hoares and Tullys. The Justmans gave it a good shot, the Mudds tried, the Teagues fucking failed spectacularly, and the Baratheons flopped. So many examples to prove our point.
--[X] "And for the other traitors... The Stormlands will have to cede territory and the Vale will be divided to make room for settlers in the desolate northern half. Magic can turn those cracked mountains and barren hills into fertile lands for settlers.
You repeated settlers twice. Otherwise, this is fine.
Despite rumors to the contrary, the North will not be spared from these changes either. If Ned Stark bends the knee, he will retain far more power then the other traitors, but the day where all the North answered to Winterfell will be over."
Why mention 'rumors' at all? Just say if he cooperates Winterfell and the Starks will retain a degree of influence and land.

This is perfect.

[] Research the Butterflies of Naath
The butterflies of Naath, or more precisely the deadly fever they cause, has long been the greatest defense of the island against Ghiscari slavers. Now though, their presence makes it difficult for new settlers to come to the island, as they lack the immunity that Brindled Men and the people of Naath have. Learning more about these creatures and the sickness named after them could greatly help to make the island more prosperous. Of course, there is always the chance that understanding the immunity might open up paths for less peaceful applications of that knowledge.
Progress: 18

In a tournament with Fae, nagas, devil's, and minotaurs. Two human fighters are left grappling for the champions belt.

Neither of whom even work directly for us (yet).
Mostly because this tourney is for our young blood to show off, not for the companions to dominate it.
I'd have little doubt that Richard or Waymar could have dominated the melee.
And Amy even more so (a little surprised he didn't join, maybe it was below him?).
But that wasn't the point.

Thanks for putting it into form that won't have me wracking by brain about how to phrase it when I'm half-asleep.

Added.

Changed it a bit.

I think he gets the point. Recounting the full list of people who fucked up trying to unite the Riverlands is an exercise in futility. I'm pretty sure we could ask Soft Strider for her input and she can regale us with tales about the First Men settling the area and immediately descending into retarded feuds.
You repeated settlers twice. Otherwise, this is fine.
Fixed.

People think we a cosying up with Ned. Paxtor Redwyne recounted rumors to that effect.

No problem. I'm trying to be more circumspect with this.
Could you also add this?

[] Creating the Mammon Machine
With the fungal pods Vee created, it is finally time to use the remains of Mammon for your most ambitious project yet. To create a machine that can produce raw essence of Law and Evil.

Daemon, Leukodaemon – d20PFSRD

Think about how many of these that could create before you make a plague bomb please.

They can definitely already use that plague, but do you really want to give them a worse version?
They can use specific spells, which have specific effects. I'm not quite getting how bio-weapon research is supposed to make them stronger.

Also, I want this to get a targeted anti-Illithid version going that is harmless to everything else.

@DragonParadox Questions for my City of Brass infiltration plan;
1) Will there be issues selling PfE items? Or should we stick to PfC, just in case?
2) We have a lot of Efreeti Wrought weapons and armor in our armory. If we remove any makers makers or unique features, would we have any issues reselling it in the City of Brass?
3) Can non-Efreeti even own/lease decent property in the City of Brass? I really hope so, or my plan is dead on arrival.
4) Is Liquid Ice a contraband substance, or even particularly noteworthy, in the City of Brass?

Seems like this is all IC information we should have been able to get from the Shaitan Vizier.
