And we'll... Precious little I have heard from "rationalists" and others who champion reason and logic above all else had convinced me theirs is the grander vision for the world.

It feels... It feels like just trading out the old fanaticism for the new.

In the interest of getting one more update out today, could we get an interlude @DragonParadox? I think one by a R'hllor worshiper would Ben extremely appropriate for the situation. Whether that be a former sex slave in Lys fervently believing Azor Ahai has come again or a high ranking Red Priest walking a political tightrope between orthodoxy and a upheaving status-quo, Is be eager to finally get an inside perspective.

If this works out we may be able to loot Mel well lets at least make the speech so that she may find new meaning in serving the glorious imperium
 
Don't care what happens to her myself, but I want that goddamn orb.

Snake, Tree, or the fishy depths, it's going in a god's gullet before this day is out even if I have to shove it down one of their throats myself.

High-powered combat drug from Shadowrun. Makes your everything better and sends you into a frothing, homicidal rage that may or may not be permanent and you may or may not be capable of distinguishing friend from foe.
 
@DragonParadox, how much success points will it take to turn Hydra's blood into a combat drug, granting fast healing 10 or about so for a short burst of time?
I think that Praetorians can easily take the "poisonous" part there.
And it would work perfectly as a base for that mix you have there, @Azel.

Also, @DragonParadox, if we are talking about updates, I'd rather get an interview interlude.
After all, as it was voted, we aren't to be involved in most of them anyway.

I kinda want to see an interview from several points of perspective too.

For a non-caster Mumia is extremly expensive for little benefit (not even sure if the temporary HP evens stack) so I would leave that out.
 
If we have an interlude can we have it from the POV of the R'hllor Cleric in Sorcerer's Deep, @DragonParadox?

I want to see the heresies.

I also want to see how pliable we've made him, and whether or not we get a personal R'hllor cleric or if we get a concept cleric.

The +2 to saves against all kinds of spells is rather sweet and worth it in my book.

Though ultimately, I would rather cook our own cocktail that is specifically tailored to them. Basically K-10, without the rage. Doesn't matter how addictive or corrosive that stuff is for a Praetorian.

I'd like to but right now I'm feeling a bit drained form witting up the social combat. I think three updates will have to do for today

Hmm... how short a burst are you thinking? Something like one round/HD?
 
I am actually shocked because I did not think it would be like this. A couple updates of salt, rage and calls for escalation sure. This is entirely unexpected. How many crits did we roll? Who sacrificed the chicken?

Is it okay if we figure out the mechanics for Syrax's massive collection of prophecies, then? As a starter since prophecy is inherently confusing I was thinking the use of Commune with Texts, Scholar's Touch, and Psychic Asylum should be mandatory to even begin to get anything out of it.
