Damn, y'all. The Vizier is going to lend us eight Mind Blank items for this mission and the time leading up to it. That's huge, not only in how much it will help us get the mission up and running, but in what it tells us about the importance of the task. When we agreed to assassinate the Bey of Beggars, he was only willing to provide two such items, and that was when the war wasn't burning quite so hot as it is now.

This isn't something we need to delay. Starting next month, or maybe even this month if time permits, we need to start doing the prep work for this mission. If we have six months, we need to spend all of that time, not dick around for three or four then try to squeeze it all in right there are the end.

I'm pretty excited. By the way, @Goldfish, when we picked up our last order of Mind Blank items we only needed three more for the Companions to be fully equipped. Then, we ordered four. Who's the last one going to? After the Companions were taken care of the next priority was strategic assets -- Rhaella, Alinor, Ser Gerold, Teana.

If DP really likes us, it will be 4 islands instead of 3 when we go there. The new one being a huge, active volcano.

I'm sure we could just find a way to hurry it all along if we want. We have lots of fiery allies and vassals, like Baela, Bloom, and Amrelath. Between the three of them we could easily expand the borders of a volcanic island.

Teana would be my choice. She holds a very important position and has enough personal power that we would never want her to be compromised, as it could endanger the Scholarium, the Shadow Tower, and all of the Initiates. Also, if she has one we will be more to convince her to go on the occasional adventure to get more XP.

That's not to say that Rhaella, Gerold, or Alinor shouldn't also get Mind Blank items of their own as well, eventually.

While I agree with the general notion, let's not gut the carefully set plan for this month.

We got at leastt one new Inquisition base this month, potentially two and an outpost in Westeros. So Intrigue actions are slowly but surely increasing, freeing up PC time.

Though we should definitely set up something in the Bazaar first. The stakes a lower, we already got some knowledge about the locale and it's a good staging ground.

Oh, no worries. I'm fully aware that everyone important to us will be Mind Blanked in due time.

As far as I know the order of priority was thus: Companions --> Strategic Assets --> Governors --> Baby & Subordinate Adventurers

...

Strange idea.

Use the Shadowrun ruleset to run a game in the distant future.

SD has become a megacity covering the entire island and some districts even built out into the sea.

Make custom mage traditions to represent the different D&D classes.

Viserys serves as the Dunkelzahn and Lofwyr of the setting at the same time.

People like Baella and don't want to gouge her :)

EDIT: Also Baella is damn clever and absolutely could hire herself another extracter for a better rate if we go full "90% for us"
For one, she likes us.

Two, virtually anyone else would literally kill and dismember her. As they have done for thousands of years to fire whales.

We are the one person to not only give a shit but to do something about it.

I highly doubt she will be pushing terms for 90% of the profits, but people seem damn eager to give her that.
