[X] Duel of Kings: You've been largely separated from the fighting up till now. You haven't even bloodied your sword yet! What's the point of all this armor if you're not going to put yourself into harms way? Do you really want to be known as the King that stood by and let others fight for him? Are you going to just stand here as Brochard slaughters your subjects? Go engage your rival in single combat and settle this feud once and for all.

DRAMATIC FINISH!

Kill kill him and this war is over. Someone make a omake just in case though.

HS damn King Angry Bird freakin had tame Trolls that's crazy anyway tempted to vote dual but I'll wait for some discussion before deciding.

Ok if were taking this we need ALL THE FUCKING OMAKES IM NOT LEAVING THIS ONE TO FATE WE ARE NOT DIEING HERE FOR THE LOVE OF GRIFFIONS MAKE OMAKES.

Trolls? FUCKING TROLLS?!

This guy is insane.

Ditto. A dramatic duel is all well and good but we're not here to be dramatic, we're here to win.

We need to pick/craft the option most likely to actually kill the bastard.

That being said I'd rather we not throw our best troops at him and drown him in bodies. Those guys are valuable for a reason and what this maniac lacks in brains he more than makes up for in sheer unadulterated violence.

He tamed trolls for fuck's sake, well more like enslaved, tortured, and then pointed in our vague direction but that's close enough.

The last thing we want to do is underestimate him and die for our hubris.

[X] Roar of the Lion: This is what the Knights were created to do, what they are trained and equipped to do. You're a merchant, an administrator, a ruler, but you're not a warrior, and you're certainly not as great a warrior as Brochard. Leave the task in the capable talons of Hardbeak and his Lions. You're not going to risk your life over some petty grudge.

I'd rather have a cunning ruler than a suicidal one. No matter how good you are at combat (and we're not that great), you could die in the chaos. Do I need to remind everybody that our Martial is tied for our lowest stat even with all our equipment?

We cannot afford to die here, when there's more to come after unifying the nation.

We need all the omakes to win a duel against king wartroll over there.

OMAKE CREATORS SOUND OFF. LET LOOSE YOUR BATTLE CRY.

We are not Frederick Von Hohenzollern from Warhammer Dynasty who can duel Daemons.

We're from a merchant background.

Are we a warrior? No, so do not engage the enemy on their chosen battle field. As it is, I do wish our balista had tried sniping the king on his initial charge.

Also @Questor , could you possibly reduce the omake boosts? They honestly seem to me to be justification for doing stupid things and then being able to get away for it. With a 10 point boost and assuming 50 is the threshold for a pass, you are literally 1.5 times as likely to succeed than to fail, which is frankly ridiculous.

You could reward write-in plans you find really clever, instead, which would make the quest a lot more interactive.

i'd vote for balista sniping, but it seems like it would be a bit much at this point.

This is what we made them for this is what we held them back for it is time to let loose the lions of war on our enemy. And let them do what they were made to do.

Are you trying to make our son a fatherless chick, and our wife a widow. The Kingdom just got us as a King who does right by them and you want to throw it all away. We are the Merchant King not the Warrior King. We win by surviving and improving everything we can not by rushing in to fight a martial badass with a warhammer. Especially since we have a sword and the warhammer is designed to defeat even heavy plate.

This is the only option that makes since outside of getting all three members of our family jumping Brochard. Even that will probably end with at least one of us dying.

Wow, those rolls were horrible, it seems like we need a hell of a lot more omakes.
Eh, they weren't all bad. Pretty across the board.

The current system is really only in place for the battle rolls. Omakes will be applied in a much different fashion in regular turns.

Well... at least we know where Brochard sunk so much of his taxes into.

I don't even want to know how he trained those damn things.

Nah, i'm voting for a rule of cool Because I can't accept voting for anything else with such a prime opportunity. I would however encourage everybody else to vote for the knights lion.

But i'ma still vote for the duel.

Well i have a feeling the next update will be the final part of the this battle and based on the dice if we want to come out of this intact were gonna need every last omake we can get here cause those dice are out for blood right now.

Were they? If they were tame then why the cages? Or the fact these trolls stepped and crushed the Aquileian Griffins?

trampling over any Aquileian unfortunate enough to stand between them and your advancing army.

They might have been conditioned into fighting like living battering rams. The image of Lord of the Ring Armor doesn't help either.
