Why stop at one? Why not make hundreds and tell them to spread across our lands as they wish?
Nothing says "better lives" than society being full of people able and willing to cast Plant Growth.
Could you put together a price list for the options you have in mind?

We can certainly see about throwing a bunch of money at this, especially as it would synergize greatly with our agricultural plans over the coming months.

I'm doing it now. An Advanced Druid Creature Lotus Leshy is CR 8 and can cast druid spells up to level 3. That costs 4800 IM each, as per the pricing chart on the front page. If we wanted 10 that would be 48,000 IM, if we wanted 100 that would be 480,000 IM.

Pricey.

@TalonofAnathrax, how about mulching up the remainder of our HD stocks and throwing 100,000 IM on top of it? That gets us at least 20 and I would like to pilfer 15 of those for my economic plans. We can make a few more in the coming months for the Basilisk Isles.

Sounds good, if we can afford it. We'll have to tell them to cast Plant Growth on a field a day, but they can probably manage it from there themselves.

@Goldfish, could you add another 64 Launchers next month?

I'm mentally putting together a expedition force.
You might have to remind me between now and then. I would put them in for this month, but the schedule is starting to get filled in now and there is already so much time being devoted to equipping the siege Legion.
My proposal would take the full 15,000 HD from the battle to make 1,000 Darkenbeasts.
I still support using the full 15k HD, but maybe we should spend some of them for support creatures, as well? 700 or 800 Darkenbeasts would still be a lot, but we could also a contingent of Verdant Wolves some Druid Creature Lotus Leshy, etc.
I still prefer making a large number of Druid creatures (capable of casting Plant Growth and a little healing) than Darkenbeasts :'(
At the very least, we should try to de both!
I agree.

Also, we should start growing Mushroom Golems, since we can just pay money and corpse HD for them instead of requiring crafter time.
There's no reason we can't just pay for whatever else we might want. If specific requests are made for certain creatures I'm sure there will be little to no resistance. For example, I'm going to try to get one Druid Creature (Lotus Leshy, Treant, it doesn't matter) to be made and then stationed at the Wall.
How much for a CR 10 Mushroom Golem to grown in the Fungal Forge?
For an expedition force, I would suggest 1 Scout Company, 1 Lancer Company, 1 Infantry Company and 500 Tolosi Slingers for a total force of roughly 3,000 soldiers and 64 Launchers as fire support with a generous amount of alchemical ammo.

@Goldfish, could you put together some ammo?

A bit overkill for the tiny population, but we need enough soldiers to actually be able to repel an enemy force.
We can assign them ammo directly from our Alchemical stockpile. After this month, we're going to have a significant quantity of weaponized Alchemical items available.

Erm, just make sure to have a few of these CR8 lotus guys help Vee and whoever ends up doing Fungal Pods.
We need those projects finished previous month :/

Will do.

I want the whole company to be able to move by air, so that would kinda defeat the purpose of the whole thing if we add Verdant Wolves. I really wouldn't want to dip below the 1,000 Darkenbeasts, as we will need at least a few replacement mounts and some to haul supplies. That's already a lot less margin of error then TNE planned for with the Lancer Companies.

I would leave this to you then.

Just to be clear, we can fix the walls without the Titan Tools? Because it sounds like the reason that hasn't bitten the Salloshi in the ass is good luck, and that's not something to depend on. A legion deployment would help, but it also might provoke the so far reasonable undead.

@Azel, would you like to simply purchase more Titan's Tools?

From what I can see they cost 40,000 IM each:
Gained 2x Titan's Tools

Lost 80,000 Gold
However, as pieces of infrastructure they are more than worth the money. If you feel our current three are stretched thin I'm sure there would be no resistance to buying more, especially with an expanded Imperium.

Will do.

A Darkenbeast can carry 800 pounds and still fly. That might be enough to carry a Verdant Wolf.

Also, the Verdant Wolves are much faster runners than the Darkenbeasts are fliers. They could probably keep apace with them quite easily.

Can they also run over water and mountains?

The absolutely lowest I would be willing to go is 920 Darkenbeasts, which would be enough to have the whole company fly and have at least one replacement mount for each squad.

[X] Plan Poking Stuff
-[X] Amulets: Keep them and poke them next month with Lyas Soul Drum to learn about their occupants and if they have died recently enough to revive them.
-[X] Sallosh: Poke the undead about the following things:
--[X] What are their current goals?
--[X] What can they tell us about the undead outside the city?
--[X] Do they know something how we could help out the colony?
--[X] Would they object to us stationing a sizable force in Sallosh to fortify the place and defend it?
-[X] Sallosh: Assuming that the undead are not wholly against the notion, station a large contingent of soldiers to defend this strategic location.
--[X] Pull the 3rd Infantry Company, the Scout Company and the Lancer Company from the 1st Column of the 2nd Legion.
--[X] Add 500 Tolosi Slingers.
--[X] Take the 64 launchers that were earmarked for the new Siege Company.
--[X] The whole force will be branded as the Salloshi Expedition Force and will be under the command of Vargor Alexi. They will assist and defend the city to the best of their ability, starting with helping to build a huge, beautiful wall.
-[X] Sallosh: Further aid and sign-up bonuses.
--[X] Vargor Alexi gets a Valyrian Steel longsword.
--[X] They get a budget for further supplies of 10,000 IM, to be dropped off together with the military units. This can include whole ships, who Viserys will Teleport over.

Mountains, maybe? Water is an unfortunate no from what I can see.

Plant-imbued creatures can move through any sort of undergrowth at their full movement rate without taking any penalties or suffering any damage. Magical enchantments designed to impede movement still affect them.

Trip (Ex)
A dire wolf that hits with a bite attack can attempt to trip its opponent (+13 check modifier) as a free action without making a touch attack or provoking an attack of opportunity. If the attempt fails, the opponent cannot react to trip the dire wolf.

@Goldfish, in regards to crafting, I would like to adjust my order:

Keep 64 launchers in the plan.
Reduce scorpions and AABs to 40.
Make 20 regular Braziers and 2 Interplanar Braziers. We will actually need that many, given the size of our military.

[X] Azel
I'll be adding that soul-drum action to my list of minor ones :/

-[X] Amulets: Keep them and poke them next month with Lyas Soul Drum to learn about their occupants and if they have died recently enough to revive them.
@Azel, the time since their death honestly shouldn't be an issue. We have their souls. We waited months before reincarnating Horio of Tyrosh, notably far after the time limit for reincarnation, and it worked because we had his soul on hand.

Anyway, I had two things I wanted to run by you for this vote.

1. What do you think about giving the leader here a Valyrian Steel Longsword? Nice little symbol of legitimacy from us, and a visible reminder to everyone on who they're sworn to. We have 3 Valyrian Steel Longswords available right now.

2. Can we buy some fishing ships from Braavos and teleport them to Sallosh? It's trivial for us and it would help our new citizens quite a bit, even if it's only one or two ships.

Did we manage to revive the male twin from Braavos?

Sorry for the non-sequitur, but it just came to me while we were discussing reviving souls.

Added. He gets a free toaster VS sword and a $10 coupon 10,000 IM in supplies for singing up with us.

Because our bonus program needs to maintain it's reputation as the best.
