Wait a minute... Freedom of Movement. Doesn't that mean they can swim at the same speed they run at? In that case, @Azel sorry for initially misleading you, I guess they would essentially be able to keep up with Darkenbeasts, even over open water.
Did we manage to revive the male twin from Braavos?

Sorry for the non-sequitur, but it just came to me while we were discussing reviving souls.
Yep. Here you go.

Second Return
Added. He gets a free toaster VS sword and a $10 coupon 10,000 IM in supplies for singing up with us.

Because our bonus program needs to maintain it's reputation as the best.
Awesome. :)

Can we add other creatures to the Fungus Forge? I know the Darkenbeasts came from research but is it possible to make -say- a weretiger in the forge if we mulched or sacrificed one?

I have fond memories of the old "Freedom of Movement in water" FAQs from 3.0 (the ones that were added at the back of the PHB alongside the attack of opportunity rules clarifications), where we all saw that the dev team explicitly endorsed applying physics to D&D as much as possible!

They argued that you still float while under FoM, because otherwise you'd also fall through the ground while walking: after all don't physicists explain "standing" as "you pushing off the ground while the ground pushes you according to an equal but opposite vector"?

I was proposing making a were-plant template to forge upon people! :V

But seriously, we'd probably can, but we'll need time and resources, again.

Also, I'm in favor of making a full 1000 of Drakenbeasts, if only because the number sounds way cooler than 920 or something.
And Wolves while amazing, aren't actual fliers.

Sure, but the wording is rather explicit.
The spell also allows the subject to move and attack normally while underwater, even with slashing weapons such as axes and swords or with bludgeoning weapons such as flails, hammers, and maces, provided that the weapon is wielded in the hand rather than hurled. The freedom of movement spell does not, however, allow water breathing.
Moving normally would be moving at land speed.

Then feed him a CR14 or 15 sacrifice, appropriate sacrifices give a modifier, but I doubt Yss can't do it without one, it just cost more if we give him a generic fiend.
When we asked, he said give him a CR 13 sacrifice associated with Lolth, explicitly because he would use her own power to unmake her curse. There was never anything said about a more powerful but generic sacrifice doing the same thing.
Speaking quickly, lest the vessel fall into one of its all too common reveries, you also question it on the matter of the many-legged horrors you had recovered from Venthar, whether he can lift the ancient, likely divine, curse and what it would require to do so. The answer is brief and... unsurprising: "Livesss beloved of the Ssspider... that I may know the taste of her magic once more. Give me... her children, whether they walk on two legss or eight, so that her websss might be tangled by their passsing."

Cost of undoing Lolth's divine curse discovered: CR 13 of any combination of creatures blessed by the Demon Queen of Spiders

Hmm I was going to do an interlude with the Silver Eye results and the new rituals but it looks like we have enough votes for an update.

  • [X] Plan Poking Stuff
-[X] Amulets: Keep them and poke them next month with Lyas Soul Drum to learn about their occupants and if they have died recently enough to revive them.
-[X] Sallosh: Poke the undead about the following things:
--[X] What are their current goals?
--[X] What can they tell us about the undead outside the city?
--[X] Do they know something how we could help out the colony?
--[X] Would they object to us stationing a sizable force in Sallosh to fortify the place and defend it?
-[X] Sallosh: Assuming that the undead are not wholly against the notion, station a large contingent of soldiers to defend this strategic location.
--[X] Pull the 3rd Infantry Company, the Scout Company and the Lancer Company from the 1st Column of the 2nd Legion.
    --[X] Add 500 Tolosi Slingers.
--[X] Take the 64 launchers that were earmarked for the new Siege Company.
--[X] The whole force will be branded as the Salloshi Expedition Force and will be under the command of Vargor Alexi. They will assist and defend the city to the best of their ability, starting with helping to build a huge, beautiful wall.
-[X] Sallosh: Further aid and sign-up bonuses.
--[X] Vargor Alexi gets a Valyrian Steel longsword.
--[X] They get a budget for further supplies of 10,000 IM, to be dropped off together with the military units. This can include whole ships, who Viserys will Teleport over.

@Azel I apologize if you already answered Duesal's question, but is it possible for us to get another set of Titan Tools? As Duesal stated earlier they really pay for themselves in terms of building infrastructure. We don't even need to go personally anymore, just send an Erinyes.

@Goldfish, in regards to crafting, I would like to adjust my order:

Keep 64 launchers in the plan.
Reduce scorpions and AABs to 40.
Make 20 regular Braziers and 2 Interplanar Braziers. We will actually need that many, given the size of our military.
Sure, but can you PM those numbers so I won't forget before the day is over.

No reason not to buy at least one more set. That'll be something to do when we visit the Opaline Vault in a few days to pick up our latest commissions.

IIRC we're going to be going shopping anyway at the beginning of next month. But from what I've seen I'd definitely be in favor of another one or two sets of Titan's Tools. With the expanded Imperium we have far more infrastructure projects, it's literally never ending.

Agreed.
