By the way, we're still waiting on confirmation on whether or not our new Istaheqs were sent to join Rhango and Bone-Breaker.
@DragonParadox, any word on magical halfbreeds?
This should give us a total of 11 Istaheqs, and we should have a solid breeding pool for pureblooded Istaheqs and three stallions to make halfbreed horses. We even explicitly instructed Bone-Breaker to get started, and the two new stallions should follow suit.

I think this one is done. All eggs that are hatched in Sorcerer's Deep will be sentient, there was just something wrong with the city in Sothoryos that makes hatching eggs there a gamble. This research action was mostly a stopgap measure to make sure that our current eggs hatch fine. We could probably convince Riz'Neth to house the Deep-Dweller Serpentfolk Eggs in Sorcerer's Deep to avoid any problems until after they hatch.
Tier-2 of this research action would be finding out what's causing it by going to the ruined city in Sothoryos and putting a stop to it.
