Really no one wants to go try out our freshly forged sword. shame wanted to see how combat worked.
Let's get some bonuses before we get in a fight.

Come to think of it, what is our general technological level?
Because from the descriptions I've gotten the impression of Roman era or the Medieval age.
Yes but that's the ponies. Ergo there is probably a good amount of magic 'under the hood' in order to run everything.Steam trains next to thatched roofs and modern DJ turntables. Complete madness.
Do you guys suppose we could end the raids on Wingbardy if we take the Diplomacy action for Diamond Dogs?
Like, we make peace of sorts offer rare gifts like warmer clothes, and food, and in return they help with our mining. Then from there we leverage the our Diamond Dogs to stop those raiding in our neighbors.
In regards to Aquileia you've said that any ships it makes have to cross through Griffinia waters to reach open ocean.A rather simplistic map that will give you a general idea of the three major factions. Feathersian city-states are not marked for simplicity's sake and due to software limitations. I used Azgaar's Fantasy Map Generator, if you're curious.
Is the water to the north of us a large inlet/river?The one true advantage you have over Aquileia is your unrestricted access to the Sea. While Aquileia is not landlocked, any of its vessels must pass through your waters if they wish to reach the open ocean. Unfortunately, as of now your "Navy" is just a bunch of hastily re-purposed fishing vessels using civilian docks.
Wow. Wingbardy's position is harsher than Middle Francia after the breakup of Charlemagne's empire. That sucks.

Ah and being MLP there are probably things living in said frozen icy wasteland. Things that you can typically only deal with via siege engines. That water to the North is all that's separating you from the frozen, icy wasteland at the top of the world. To give you an idea, imagine that Griffonia is Scandinavia, and that the water to the north is the Norwegian Sea. The body of water to the east is like the Black sea in that it only has the one opening/route to the actual ocean.

Ya the site that creates those maps are great but it stresses even computers to use.Looked it up got into it and had to crash the Tab just to get out of it, so yeah word of warning don't use it with a phone.
