What would you suggest? I thought nobles gaurds get payed pretty well...

Edit: wrong job.

It's a mantle piece and we don't even know that he has a mantle, if he is ever in financial hardship he would agonise over selling such a gift but would be foolish not to, and it's not like he will sit at the dinner table with his family eating from a silver bowl and spoon while they make do with wood.

Find something he would like, needs or would make his family life better, combat gifts would be strange in context and carry the burden of use.
We could send a gremlin in to investigate hm and tell him what he needs. Then we can drop off a pouch of silver along with discreetly healing anyone he cares about. Maybe another suitably fey-ish gift. I dunno, we'll figure it out.

Basically we need to investigate.

We are the ones with a hit squad of 15 Veteran Erinyes with Greater Teleport at will.

I'm eager to use them to murder someone soon.

Yeah, I was a little disappointed at the focus on the Mantarys joint action against Slaver's Bay, @DragonParadox can we get an action or immediate after action PoV of the Erinyes wrecking Harpy and Unsullied, particularly Harpies.
I know you can't do the Erinyes themselves but a random peasant or enemy perspective would actually be preferred here.

Hey guys, massively out of sync here for reasons which have to do with the question I'm gonna ask here: Does anyone have -or could point me to- a summary of the main events and characters about all that has to do with north of the Wall? The whole chain of events with the dozen different strains of wildlings (Thenns, cannibals, Yiggrite, everyone else), Mance Rayder's arc, giant's stuff, events before book 1. Basically everything one would need to know to muck about in that part of the setting.

Asking for a friend.

Edit: If its not very detailed, throw it to me as well. More info is never a bad idea.

Not off the top of my head, there will almost certainly be an analysis somewhere on Reddit, I'd recommend World of Ice and Fire for non-canon character focus, it has good setting information.

Updated plan, now with a lot of gear for Alyssa and Danar.

I realize this is a lot of gear to give them, but they are both high level PCs with very little gear. Operating as a pair, they need all the help they can get. Nothing major had to be removed from the crafting schedule to accommodate this stuff. A few items were already crafted, though a quite a bit of non-essential stuff, like PfE items intended for stockpiling purposes, or enchanted weapons for the Minotaurs, had to be postponed.

The main items of importance, from my PoV, are the Corpse-Ferrying Bag for Alyssa (so they can collect corpses for us!), the Rope Trick Page of Spell Knowledge (so they can rest safely in the increasingly dangerous wilderness of Westeros), and the Boots of the Wide Earth (which greatly increases their mobility and allows them to easily come and go from SD without needing our help). The False Ravens give them scouts, spies, and messengers, which we've made great use of ourselves.

--[X] Offer them a place in Sorcerer's Deep. We will grant them land and fund construction of a suitable dwelling, if they wish to have a place of their own to call home. It wouldn't be fair to their daughter to raise her on the road, after all, and Sorcerer's Deep is full of children with whom she could socialize. There are also plenty of potential caretakers if both of her parents need to leave for a short time. A home would not only give them a place to store their belongings, it would also be a safe place to rest and recover after long and trying adventures.
--[X] If they spend some time in Sorcerer's Deep, they might also find some among the island's populace who would be helpful in their Westerosi adventures.

Well look at that loot haul! Danarquest/Alyssaquest negaverse just had the best rolls of their lives. Santa!Viserys is here and he's saving your life, giving you a house, and showering you with riches!

Do they really need that many False Ravens? They're guided by Bloodraven you know, and Danar has spells. I would remove all the ravens.

Three lessers and one greater isn't that much. We're crafting 47 lesser ravens and 8 greater ones this month alone.

They can use them to do all kinds of stuff that isn't associated with Bloodraven. They can deliver messages, act as scouts or spies, and even do aerial bombardment.

No, that picture is the Cold War IRL. Dueling through Gremlins would be this:
Second image is broken.

BTW, I had a lot of time to think on my drive home Sunday and I realized we've been overlooking an opportunity presented to us now that Viserys' caster level has risen to 17.

The Builder's Anchor ward which prevents Teleportation North of the Wall in Westeros can only be bypassed if the mage's caster level is 21 or greater.

Well, Viserys can manage that now. Harmonic Chorus + Moment of Greatness will raise the caster level of a spell by +4.

Suck it, Brandon the Builder.
I'd worry about straining or wearing it thin.

But this might be weak metaphorical magic talking.

It can only carry up to a single medium corpse.

A Type II Bag of Holdkng would be much, much better for them.

Which reminds me, have we revisited the Umbral Spy construct? It has some pretty unique abilities, I think it was overkill/overpriced last time I raised it but it should fit in the current environment.

It comes from Forge of War but there is this which should give an idea of it until I can get a hold of the Forge of War page.

It's better than nothing and can always be upgraded later. There's only so much room in the crafting schedule to be made.

With his new boots, Danar can also Teleport choice specimens to SD for us.

73,421 lbs of Adamantine

24,567 lbs of Mithral
----[X] Razorsharp Masterwork Adamantine Dagger
----[X] +1 Adamantine Long Spear[200 IM]
----[X] +1 Mithral Chain Shirt[100 IM]
----[X] Razorsharp Masterwork Adamantine Dagger
----[X] +1 Adamantine Hand Axe[200 IM]

73,421 lbs of Adamantine - 2 lbs (Razorsharp Masterwork Adamantine Dagger x2) - 3 lbs (+1 Adamantine Hand Axe) - 1 lbs (+1 Adamantine Longspear Speartip) = 73,415 lbs of Adamantine

So that's an expenditure of 6 lbs of Adamantine. Not bad at all.

And then of course there's 12.5 lbs of Mithral for the Chain Shirt (+1) leaving us with 24,554.5 lbs of Mithral in our reserves.

I know it's pretty trivial at this point, when we have over 73,000 pounds of the stuff, but the long spear shouldn't need more than one or two pounds of Adamantine. Most of the weight is in the haft, with only the spear point itself being Adamantine.

Oh, only the spear tip is going to be adamantine? My mistake, then. Fixing now.

EDIT: Fixed.

I just added this to my plan;
----[] Funding: 500 IM monthly discretionary budget to spend as they see fit. Save it, invest it, or use it to cultivate Westerosi contacts and grease palms as necessary.
Is that too much or not enough? We're all in this together, so it's in our best interest to give them all the tools they need to fulfill their missions.

500 IM per month is way too much.

You should just give them the Companion policy. Instead of a monthly salary they just poke at Alinor as needed and get the funds from her.

You can give them a large bonus right now if you want, though.

I am just imagining this from a dnd game perspective. Imagine you are a party of two roleplaying as husband and wife and this shit happens. Some dragon- thing shows up, says he will protect your daughter, you and your wife and give you cool shit and all you have to do is carry some corpses and do what you have been doing? Just imagine that
