So the Valyrian dragon? Is it in hell, essos or somewhere else? Also while I was looking at the mechanics for the Scolarium I say one about class being given a -5 if not known so I'm wondering does the Unilla, lorekeeper of hell, have the information of classes?

I'd actually be pretty happy if they took the Valyrian Dragons to Hell. If they turn it into some Infernal Abomination and try to toss it at us, all that means is that we have more valuable loot. And possibly a potent sacrifice.

Don't forget to vote, ya'll. Or propose a different plan if mine isn't to your liking.

... I may have a great idea.
Have Erynies kill off the remaining alchemists.

Make it look like Hell is dealing with witnesses.

I still think we should get Richard at least.

We are the ones with whispering braziers and teleport. It won't take too much from his time

Since nobody else seemed to able to do it, here: A Sword Without A Hilt (Fanfic) - TV Tropes

Very raw and basic for now, but I need a break.

Wow. This is great.

Thanks.:)

  • [X] Plan "Those Devils just can't catch a break with that blasted Dragon King hounding their every step. Poor babies..."
-[X] Viserys, Lya, Dany, and Tyene immediately begin preparations to retrieve Ser Kennos.
--[X] Dany casts Entropic Shield on herself.
--[X] Tyene casts Entropic Shield and Ironskin on herself, then Greater Blindsight on herself and Dany.
--[X] Lya casts Shield of Faith on herself, Dany, and Tyene, Mass Aid and Moment of Greatness on everyone. After Viserys Teleports the group, she casts True Seeing on herself.
--[X] Viserys has the Restoration Living Spell heal his Charisma damage, if he hasn't already, renews his Scintillating Scales and Shield spells, then casts Invisibility on himself, Dany, Lya, and Tyene.
---[X] If he hasn't done so already, Viserys gives a pair of Soulfire Bracers to Dany and the other pair to Lya.
-[X] Once prepared, Viserys assumes True Dragon form and Teleports everyone to Ser Kennos' location. Rather than arriving directly at the site, however, Viserys Teleports them to approximately 2,000 feet above Ser Kennos.
--[X] Approach Ser Kennos from the air, carefully searching for hidden Devils. Viserys, Dany, and Tyene use their Earrings to gain True Seeing to aid them in this.

By the way. Has someone ever given Garin the Skill Trick Mosquito's Bite?

There is no proper Omae Wa Mou Shindeiru without that

@Azel The Fabricate-based coin minter is going to cost 8100 IM. That not only uses up every bit of Lya's crafting time, it would also require her to spend a day of her regular time working on it during the coming month if we want to have it ready for use in only 30 days. It needs to be done, so I don't mind slotting it in, but that means crafting the Cold and Electricity Elemental Wyrmlings will have to be put off until later because Valeria's caster level isn't quite high enough yet.

Unfortunately, we don't have any other Arcane crafters capable of using Fabricate to assist her with the work. That is, unless we get Anu in on it, too. @DragonParadox Will we be able to have Anu start working for us next turn? If so, what crafting feats does he have? If he can make himself a Dedicated Wright, that would be perfect.

@Everyone Since DP said Lya can make Dedicated Wrights for her Arcanum without them experiencing Constitution drain, Valeria is getting one of her very own. That's 30 full crafting days for her next month, before any of her actual days are assigned. The question is, how many of her actual days do we assign to crafting on top of that?

It's not just that we would have to pick him up in the middle of the night, he's also going to be missing a lot of the buffs the King's Landing group already has, including everything from Dany's Persistomancy. I really would prefer not to bring him under those circumstances.

I'd keep her at full crafting for now. There is armor and weapons for the Minotaurs to enchant.

Also, how's the gear for the Erinyes looking?

We'll need but to have someone under Mindblank divinate all remaining important Alchemist members and write down names/locations on some papers, which Erynies will read just before going out and murderblendering poor chaffs.

Would also give Lana one Hell of a headache.
do you see what I did there?

Now that's some proper infernal enforcers.

I wouldn't want to take these on from an ambush again.

I think you're defeating our purpose, there. We just supposedly destroyed the Alchemists' Guild for working with Hell. It doesn't make sense for Hell to then turn around and start executing the survivors.

Does it?
They would certainly not want Lana and Lannisters getting anything remotely important out of them...
Or at least, I think we can make it look like that.

Part MMCCCXLVIII: Out of the Gloom
Out of the Gloom

Twenty-Sixth Day of the Fifth Month 293 AC

Thoros' surprise only grows as you decide to peer into the future for yourself, gazing into the hearth-fire while your shadow dances to the tune of dreams long past. As ever the answers you receive makes neither a wholly pleasant nor unpleasant hearing, but you are glad to know them just the same. To be forewarned is to be forearmed after all, and you will need no small measure of arms for the battle ahead, for many of the Sisters of Darkness await, perhaps bearing the idol-clad horror's talisman to bear... From there your questions wonder farther afield to the matter of the remaining alchemists and their means to brew their damnable substance, there at least you are reassured, for many of the devils' pawns are dead and they have no great ritual chamber to concoct jars of ruin by the scores and hundreds.

Alas for Thoros that the fiends seemed to have taken his for a macabre trophy and might yet have power over him. You can see the beginnings of stubborn frown form on his face, but do not yet have the time to address it, for the spell drives you on if the cup of prophecy is to be drunk to the dregs.

"What about the Corbrays?" Tyene asks suddenly, worried. "What about the eggs?"

Here too the news turns dire: the eggs are not close, the dragons are hatched, and gone from the Seven Kingdoms, no doubt to be used in some future plot.

Lost 100 XP

You would be ready,
you vow. As the trance disperses, you decide to attempt to part the curtain of fate one more time, though rather than spending another wish upon the task Dany takes it up. Her voice distant but clear like a silvery hunting horn among far-off hills:

The Forlorn Knight holds tight the key
A Blade Reforged in hallowed blood
In glamored vale ever Darkness be
Seek out the child risen from the fog

"The famed blade of House Corbray is called Lady Forlorn," Thoros says sounding shaken by all that he has heard as he was not at the prospect of fighting devils sword in hand. "Ser Lyn holds it since he slew Prince Lewyn Martell at the Trident..." he breaks off, though whether at mentioning the death of her greet-uncle in Tyene's company or simply speaking of the Trident to you, you know not.

"Such weapons do have an affinity to blood beyond that of common steel," you note diplomatically, before turning to more pressing matters. "I know you wish to heed your friend's plea for aid, Ser..."

"I am no knight," the priest of R'hllor replies at once, his plate creaking sightly as though to protest the words.

"I remember I tried to call you holiness once. I also recall you waving away the title rather virtuously and muttering a word that got me in a bit of trouble when I repeated it," you answer with a sly smile.

The words startle a genuine laugh out of the man, so like the Thoros you knew briefly as a boy. "A poor priest I may be, but still I was called to aid. I could not let you fight those horrors alone." He turns to Dany. "A child should not have to face perils I am unwilling to."

Frustration flashes over your sister's face so briefly you doubt any but you even caught the look. "I've fought worse and doubtless will in the future. I can command no obedience, so I must instead plead for trust. Don't undo my work in restoring you for pride or vengeance's sake."

The priest seems taken aback at the strength of her conviction. Slowly, reluctantly, he nods. "I'll have to find some other way to repay you, then."

Hopefully he will find many ways, you think, hiding a smile. There are many other uses you could put to a sorcerer-priest skilled in the arts of war than a devil-hunter.

***

In veils you are wrapped, in wards and guarding sigils the better to withstand hell-forged steel and subtler more insidious powers, but as the three of you pass from the skies above Sorcerer's Deep to those above the Vale, lit only by a sliver of moonlight, there is no battle to behold.

"I think we might be a bit to high," Tyene calls in your mind, still linked as you are by your sister's power.

Indeed you are level with some of the lower peaks of the Mountains of the Moon, looking down over a mist-shrouded valley covered in tall somber pines, sentinels and soldiers gathered like a silent army of the wild. There is no sign of Ser Kennos' small fire either, lost somewhere among the mist and branches. You do however spy black wings below, far too large to belong to any bird, even the largest eagle... Erinyes.

What do you do?

[] Write in battle plan

OOC: So far so good, you did not alert the devils. They are, however, outside of darkvision range, and there's not much of a moon out.
